I had such an amazing experience at Ellyne! I am so glad I choose this store to get my dress! They are amazing to work with and such a great environment to be in! They helped me with my indecisiveness! Tina Was the best thay I could have ever imagined we were so lucky to have her! I got my dress and picked out bridesmaid dresses the same day. I would recommend this store to anyone I know!

Avoid stress and avoid Ellynne Bridal at all costs. Yes, it is true their dresses are gorgeous. It is true your initial experience may or may not be terrible. What is more than likely, is anything thereafter will fail to meet even the most minimal of expectations and leave you stressed and worried about your gown, alterations, and your big day. Save yourself the strife and go elsewhere.

I did end up getting my dress at Ellynne's - barely. And I say that because I went in September to pick out a dress (wedding was the following September.) When I got my dress in (8 months later) it was waaaay too small. Consultant ordered an 8. So my measurements were reviewed, and consultant should have ordered a 12. So... then they had to re - order the correct size. That took another 3 months. Went there to try on bridesmaid dress anyway. Thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. I went in with 4 girls. None of my bridesmaids really knew each other and there was only one room to change in. So they were all uncomfortable. Also, had girls that were sizes 6, 10, 14, and 16. Since all they carry is sample dresses, only one girl could really try anything on. That was kind of a slap in the face to my other bridesmaids. Found a possible dress, but wasn't sure how it would look on everyone since only one girl could fit in the sample - plus most of the ones we were interested in were about $300. Was not paying that. Went to Davids bridal with NO appointment, we're helped anyway, everyone had their own dressing room and could all try on a dress. Next, went back to ellynne's to finally pick up my dress (about a month til my wedding). It fit, minus the minor alterations. Set up an appointment to discuss alterations, but was roughly quoted $200 by one lady. Went in for alterations appointment. The lady said that she was contracted thru them, and gave me her prices. She quoted me $450 for the first step, another $30 every time I came in to see her, plus whatever else needed done (keep in mind this was no where CLOSE to the other estimate I was given.) I told her that was way more than I expected. Told her I was quoted $$ from so-and - So the other day. She totally threw that other lady under the bus, said she didn't know what she was doing, sucked at alterations and didn't know why she was even working there. She was completely rude about it, so I took my dress and left. Got it done at stitching in time for $250. Going back to when I picked up my dress, I needed a veil. Found one I loved and ordered the right length. When I tried it on at home, the right side stuck out horribly. I brought it back to town with me. My maid of honor dropped it off, put it on her head head and showed them what was wrong with it. Went in to pick it up after they "fixed it." I put it on again in the store. Nothing was different. By this point I was pretty angry. I said this needs fixed today. I'm getting married SATURDAY! The owner says "come back in an hour." So I did. They had cut it up by the comb on the right side. It layed a little flatter after some messing around with it. I took it an left. Didn't last long. By the time I made it to the ceremony, it still stuck out BAD. I had to have my pictures edited to correct it. But didn't matter because it was still on my wedding video. Just my 2 cents.

Don't waste your time! Terrible service & ungrateful staff.

I am an avid reader of reviews and very seldom have ever written a bad one but felt compelled after doing business at Ellynne's. I was a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding and she picked out her dress as well as all of the bridesmaid's dresses at Ellynne's. First complaint is that they are VERY expensive and you can find the same dresses elsewhere. Secondly and most importantly, they are some of the rudest people that I've ever worked with. They never ONCE told me thank you - which is irritating and ungrateful. If you're expecting to be greeted when you walk in, you'll be disappointed. Also, don't show up on time for your fittings because no matter if you're the first appt or last appt, you'll wait for a good 20-30 minutes while the staff scrambles around to figure out who is supposed to be helping you. Another thing that is scary is that they didn't even have records that my dress was there or if I had picked it up. Totally unorganized. I wouldn't spend another dime in that store and have told everyone I know not to patronize that shop. My friends and family have all had similar experiences at Ellynne's and would agree with my review. My advice is not to waste your time (because they definitely will) and please don't waste your money there! They don't appreciate your business anyway!!
