Great vet! Dr Nixon is the best. The staff is caring and they won’t do extra testing/surgery just to charge extra!

Belmont vet staff have always shown love and care for my animals. I have coming to them for 12 years now. They have helped my family through goodbyes and new arrivals. We recommend them to all our family and friends.

We have been taking our fur babies to Belmont Vet for almost 25 years now. We have complete confidence in the doctors and with their grooming staff. They keep us informed about all issues and they do it with compassion. We would not take our babies anywhere else. Katryna S.

I have always had great care at Belmont Vet. I have lost a cat and everyone was so awesome. When I had to put down another they were very symathetic and understanding. With my current kitty they have answered all my questions dealing with his diabetes.

We have used Belmont Vet for over 10 years and have never had a bad experience. Our dogs are huge and have boarded there with no problems. The hours are great and it's always easy to get an appointment! Thanks for taking such good care of our babies!!

Compassion

I would highly recommend the Belmont Veterinary Center for the care of your beloved pet. We had a beautiful German Shepherd mix named Katie that loved going to the Center for boarding and exams. The staff was friendly and professional anytime we took her in for a visit. Katie developed a limp in her right, front leg and it was quickly diagnosed that she had bone cancer. Our veterinarian discussed our options for treating Katie; and because of the aggressive nature of her cancer, we decided to have her leg amputated. I was impressed with the care that Katie received before and during this major surgery. Everything was explained to us as owners and I believe Katie was given excellent medical care. There was a compassion shown to my husband and I that I consider exceptional. I believe the staff at Belmont went to great lengths to help us through the difficult months leading up to and after the loss of this wonderful animal and extended sympathy and comfort to us. We were very grateful for their services.

We have adopted another German Shepherd mix named Maggie and she is greeted with the same warm, friendly manner as Katie was. The staff is wonderful and we appreciate the quick and professional way they answer any questions we may have. They have demonstrated on numerous occasions that this is not just a job to them - they actually care about the owners and pets that go there for medical care.

A+++++++

I would highly recommend Belmont Vet if you want high quality care for your animal. I have been using Belmont Vet Center for the past 6 year and would go not take Sebastian anywhere else. Sebastian (pug/rat terrier) has had some unfortunate belly problems and has required ongoing care. Dr. Peggy Martinez has gone above and beyond to ensure that Sebastian has the most up to date care consulting with K-State about new drugs or procedures that can help him. Sebastian almost died 3 years ago and was in the hospital for 5 days and with their love and care he was nursed back to health. Every time I call with an emergency they get him in within a few hours. The techs are very gentle with Sebastian and always ensure that all my questions were answered. Sebastian has met with the other vets in the office and they too have been focused on his care, never rushing us out of the office even when the waiting room is full. Everyone at Belmont Vet Center (including the office manager) greet Sebastian and I every time we come in. They have even placed special orders for Sebastian’s prescription food and treats. I would trust no one else with the care of my baby.

Terrible

My neighbor went in to get her dog spayed and she died two days later. She was happy and healthy before the surgery. This vet didn't take any responsibility because it was his "day off." Do not schedule any surgeries here.

I checked will all the veterinarians here, an no one remembers an animal that died two days after being spayed, except someone who had a dog that vomited some trash the dog had eaten and died of aspiration pneumonia.
