I went into Les Schwab to get 4 new tires on my van. I am a handicapped veteran and I have served my country for many years. Having gone to Les Schwab to get tires, has turned this into the biggest headache I could ever have. Nothing going into battle all over again to seek justice! The issue is, is when the tires were replaced, the rims ended getting damaged with many gashes and scratches all over. I have taken pictures of the damage to prove the damage exists and the date the pictures were taken. I went back to Les Schwab the next day asap! I wanted them to see the damage that was made when the tires were changed. I was advised that the damage came from the salt off the roads in winter time, and when that did not work they said that they were rusted. I spoke to the manager of the store and the manager decided that they were not responsible for the damage. I contacted the corporate office regarding my damage, and to my dismay they decided to speak to the store manager and let him again deny my claim. So I spent almost $500.00 dollars for the tires, who knows how much to get the rims replaced and my time to deal with the situation! What happened to the customer is always right? How many more customers have been treated unfair and unjust? Whose pockets are getting full, while ours drain like they have holes in them? I have been a loyal customer to Les Schwab, they have lost me as a customer. Words from mouths travel like the speed of lightning! Just because I am elderly does not mean you can take advantage of me.
