My dog chewed on my glasses, this damaged the frames but lens were fine. I went to Vision Care Consultants were I purchased the glasses to inquire if new frames could be purchased for the current lenses. After three to four months they determined that they could not get the same frame. I returned home with my lenses and looked for where I could purchase the same frames. After receiving the new frames that I found, returned to Vision Care Consultants to have the lenses put into the frames. Upon my return I realized that my lenses were not the same. When I got the lenses back from them I never looked to see that they were the matching pair. The associate then proceeded to blame me for losing the lens. I was then treated very poorly and some of the following were said to me.
ItâÂÂs the same lenses, maybe itâÂÂs not the same size because he filed them down to try and fix them
They look the same to me
The prescription is the same that is your lens
Well we had them for a long time
Who do we know that you did not lens or not
They are the same color itâÂÂs the way the light is in here
This is not our fault
Not once was a treated kindly or they tried to remedy the problem. They have only shut down and will not work with me to get me the correct the error. I have even tried to call the owner of the store and the manager has said that the owner doesnâÂÂt have time to talk to me.
Instead they have proceeded to talk to me like I am stupid, that I would have lost the one lens and brought in a un matched set of lenses, and want something for nothing.
I am appalled by the bad service, rude attitude, unprofessionalism , lack of customer service, and will never return to this optical store.
