I have read the review of this complex by Brenda C, and felt that I should offer a rebuttal. The apartments are older, but well maintained. You will not find an apartment in this area for any where near the rent charged. The largest drawback is no central air, and no elevator. The Building Manager has been here for year or so and I could not disagree more with Brenda as to her performance. She does not hate kids, but has rules for their safety that some of the parents do not agree with. Playing in common traffic areas, etc. There are some great park playgrounds close by. She is always out picking up garbage and cigarette butts, cleaning hallways in addition to the regular administrative duties of a building Manager.

These apartments are in a great location and the price is very reasonable for the location. However, you do not get anything more than just the apartment and 1 parking spot for that price.

Each building houses 10 apartments and only offers 1 over priced washer and 1 over priced dryer for all the residents to share.

The complex has come under new management within the past two years and not so much for the better. The new landlord dislikes children very much, so if you have children this is not the best place for you. Children are not allowed to play anywhere on the grounds and the landlord posts notices about that nearly every couple of months.

She has no respect for long time tenants and is not ever willing to offer a nice gesture to help these people out if they are ever in a bind.

Since she has moved in, several long term tenants have been kicked out of their apartments/homes and magically all of her family members now live here. However, she is nice to your face when speaking to her.



If these are issues you are willing to live with, than this place is not so bad, the apartments are a great size and offer a lot of natural lighting. Some are updated and some are not, we do not get a whole lot, but the rent is reasonable, so you shouldn't expect to get a whole lot in the first place.
