When I purchased my brand new home, it came with "three free lawn care treatments" from Columbia. Like a fool, I thought this meant that they would come out when I called to fertilize my lawn.

The first time I tried to get them to come out, I was got the run-around for WEEKS. After several conversations and being told that I would be called back, I was finally informed that I was "out of their normal range" and that they would not be coming. I had to call the owner of the homebuilding company to get Columbia to come out and make good on their promise.

Trying to get my second treatment has been even less fun. Over the past three weeks, I have spoken to people twice, and left three voice mail messages. Columbia does not even have the manners to call me back and let me know they are not coming. The last time, I spent ten minutes on the phone with the receptionist, who informed me that she does not have the ability to schedule (That's funny, then why is she answering the phone?), I was told I would get a call back by the end of the day. Guess what? No call, no luck, no fertilizer. Don't bother with Columbia..even if you are offered their services for free. Find a company with manners and integrity instead!!!
