The people in this store are awesome. I’m always treated with respect. They are extremely knowledgeable and willing to help me out with any problem I might have. I always recommend this place to my friends and family.

Being a consumer who tries to support local business over national chains I tried " A Texas girls gun store". After being treated like a child that knows nothing by the owner, Judith, I will never set foot in that store again. Further I will discourage anyone I know who inquires about the store to go. If you go please use caution. Judith will treat you like you are a complete idiot as well as add condescending sarcastic statements when unwarranted. Judith should be cautious when treating people like this. Though she may have some worldly experience this by no means gives her dominion over all others. I believe judith has just enough experience and knowledge that has gotten her into a narcisstic rut if not corrected she will shut her business down by her own hands. First time customers don't spend as much money as return customers. Please learn something from your growing reputation as it definitely precedes you now.

I purchased over $4100 from A Texas Girl's Guns on 2 rifles, ammo and a small scope. My orders included a LaRue rifle that took over 13 months to receive from time of order. My dissatisfaction is not as much from the delay, but how I was treated by the owner of A Texas Girl's Guns while waiting. Each time I called or contacted her, she said that she was “busy” and had other customers at the gun counter. It’s hard to believe that after spending over over $4100 that I would not be treated with the same respect. Once I sent her an e-mail to check on the status of my rifle and the owner sent a canned response that included: "Calling repeatedly and e-mailing repeatedly to check on the status of your order does not make it magically appear faster." When I received this e-mail I was checking 1x about every 3-4 months, so I don’t consider this to be unreasonable considering I paid her a significant amount of money for my rifle. Another time when I called I was told that I was “not being patient” and that I was an “impatient person.” I reminded the owner that I had been waiting over 1 year for my rifle and most people would consider that to be very patient. Her treatment of me was flippant, considering I had spent over $4100. I recommend purchasing your firearms and accessories from another dealer. For a LaRue rifle, I recommend buying directly from LaRue so that you will receive better customer service.
