Arlex Oil, started in 1934 by William E. Maloney, remains a family-owned business in its third generation, providing home heating products in the Lexington area of Massachusetts. It monitors the daily consumption of clients, forecasts the next delivery, and keeps thousands of gallons of fuel in reserve. It provides a 24-hour emergency service, preventive maintenance check-ups, equipment sales and service agreements, heating and cooling installations and air conditioning service. Arlex also provides excavation services that include connection to city water pipes and city sewer lines and removal and disposal of old underground oil tanks. It also offers suitable payment plans including a Budget Plan where the client is billed monthly with even payments from September through July with any outstanding balances due in August, a Senior Citizens Discount Plan, Prompt Payment Discounts, Monthly Credit Card Payments, Pre-paid Packages and a Capped Price Plan available on request but depending on market conditions. It is headquartered in Lexington, Mass.
