The Center for Eye Care is Mifflin County's only full service medical and surgical eye care facility working together with the Mifflin County Community Surgery Center, the county's only ophthalmic specialty center. Our Center offers services unique to the area including many services recently discontinued by the local hospital including 10 minute modern cataract/lens implant surgery;topical anesthetic techniques for cataract;the new prescription and corrective lens implants;glaucoma surgery, selective laser for glaucoma;LASIK, adult eye muscle surgery;penetrating corneal transplantation;intravitreal medications and laser for macular degeneration, diabetic and other retinal vascular diseases, and surgery for droopy and baggy lids as well as many other ophthalmic plastic surgeries.;Our costs are considerably less expensive than either Centre Community or Lewistown Hospital and quality has been shown to be superior to Lewistown Hospital;We hope you'll give a call
