I am not sure how anyone could giv Angelo's 1 star. Reading the other review leads me to believe that person either has a vendetta or was at a different place all together.



I have been going to Angelo's for 30 plus years. The menu has been the same as has the atmosphere in all those years.



Angelo's is a local favorite featuring a simple classic Italian menu. They make their own sauces, dressing, and bread on site. Some favorites are the breadsticks, Angelo's salads, chicken parmesan, and baked hoagies.



There is a bar for drinks while you wait. I recommend ordering some local Brookmere wine so you can enjoy the dim and romantic atmosphere while you wait for your food. While there, look around and enjoy some of Angelo's paintings. Make sure to keep an eye out for the friendly spirit that is sometimes said to haunt the place, if you believe in such things.

Absolutely horrible food and experience. We ordered lasagna w/meatballs and manicotti w/meatballs. Toss salads are just chunks of lettuce and very very thin sliver of tomatoe. Lasagna was merely pasta with canned processed tomatoe sauce - NO meat, NO ricotta cheese, NO herbs, NO mozerella cheese - NOTHING! The manicotti was frozen and drenched in the same canned processed sauce. The meatballs again were obviously frozen with NO taste. Sauce was laden with salt. It would not have mattered if we ordered lasagna, manicotti, spaghetti, chicken parmisian, etc.... - everything is drenched in the same putrid sauce. Had to ask for bread. Both meals totalled $30 and was definitely not worth it. Will not return. POOR POOR POOR quality food. I am 47 years old and it was one of the top 3 worse meals I have ever had.
