Avoid at all costs. Boarded our dog for 3 days. He was soaked in urine, his bed was too, and there were literally chunks of feces under the bed mat (two piece bed). So, exactly how often are you taking out a dog that is house trained? Dog's will avoid laying in their own feces and urine at all costs. Seems telling.

Also - this place likes to add on fees and tell you that vaccinations are needed that are not! We just boarded our dogs to move a few weeks ago, all is fine, but this place says we need two vaccines we haven't heard of for over $100? What?

Do your research - these folks are not in the animal helping business, they are in the rip-off business. They call you back once you complain about your dog being soaked in urine and offer a goodie bag? Really?

I have taken my dog to AHOP for all of his veterinary care, day care and boarding. The staff has been patient, caring and professional over the years. Whenever, any problem would arise they would be right on it and answer any of my questions. For example, a staff person noticed a growth near his jaw and they notified me immediately. I was sure glad they ran tests to determine what it. I don't worry about spending for the welfare of my little buddy. My friends are also happy.

I have very mixed feelings about Polaris... I do agree the staff as a whole is incredible, it is a shame Dr Eaton is there. Initially we were there because of our elderly cat, it, it had been a long weekend with our regular vet and the problem was getting worse and worse, With late hours, no emergency charge, they agreed to see him immediately. He had wonderful care, expensive but he progressed well. several weeks later, my daughter's dog swallowd a chicken bone. Concerned about the small brittle bones, she took him there. The weekend passed and the bone seemed to still be in his system. After xrays..it was decided surgery was the only resolution, enters Dr Eaton. After an hour or so, Dr Eaton emerged. We had never met her to that point. She walked into the waiting area, anounced that she had found , what she suspected to be a malignant tumor on his liver. Options, make arrangements to have him seen at OSU for a biopsy ......or put thim down. Oh and by the way, make that decision immediately. A more cold and less compassionate person I have never met. The incident was so horrific. My daughter literally had an emotional meltdown, even the vet we had initially seen, argued with Dr Eaton over her approach to the devastating news. They closed from the surgery (never finding a bone) and he came home a couple of days later. A second vet discouraged the biopsy telling us there was no reasonably priced or effective treatment and told us it was a very slow growing cancer. After 4 yrs, we eventually sent our boy over the rainbow bridge. Even with the cancer, he lived to his expected life span....and the cancer didn't cause his death. He developed a cognitive disorder similar to altzheimers. He wouldn't eat or drink on his own, he became unresponsive and lost a lot of weight. Had we listened to Dr Eaton, we would have lost years of enjoyment with him.. the rating is only because I must rate them.. the staff gets 5 stars, Dr Eaton a minus 5

This place is a disappointment to veterinary medicine around the world. Dr. Eaton is only after money she cheats and scams people into spending more money than they have to spend. She forces people into doing diagnostics she knows are not necessary and automatically will jump to the worst possible conclusion in order to scare you into doing something unnecessary. Please if you love your pets STAY AWAY from this eye sore of a clinic. I'm appalled that Ohio allows people like her to practice medicine. Make the thief retire and be done with it.

Animal Hospital of Polaris is the best Vet Hospital I have ever been so lucky to find. I have had animals all my life and I can honestly say they are by far the best. I see Dr. Eaton. She is a dream come true. My 12 year old Shepherd tore her ACL. Then she broke her leg before the ACL surgery healed. Dr. Eaton came to my house to do bandage changes. She knew it was hard for my dog to go there. She is the first Vet I ever had that would come to my house. The girls in the office call and check on her and when I take her in, they love on her and treat her as if she were their dog. My dogs are so loved there. I thank God for Dr. Eaton. She is why my 12 year old shepherd is still with us. If you are new in town and have pets then you must see Dr. Eaton. I know you and your pets will love her too.

Best care I have ever received for my animals. Pup had surgery there and did excellent. Both AHOP and the surgeon made several follow up calls over the 8 week recovery period to make sure things were progressing as planned and answer all of my questions. They never treat my questions as ridiculous or bothersome.



Oh, and my pets LOVE going there. That says more than anything I could ever say.

having just moved to the Lewis Center, finding a Vet that I was comfortable with was a big priority to me. From the very first visit to The Animal Hospital of Polaris I knew i had found the right place. From their attention and geniune care for my dogs as well as answering all of my questions, they were willing to spend as much time as needed and never made me feel rushed. I would def recommend this place

Our dog fell and suffered from a very complex fracture. We got to the Animal Hospital on Saturday evening. They were very friendly and after a series of examination the scheduled our dog for a surgery the day after.

Right now our dog is much better thanks to their treatment. In addition their prices were very reasonable.

I would definitely recommend on the place

This Animal Hospital was great! Our dog had a terrible ear infection. They were able to see us right away and were very helpful, patient and informative!



We would recommend this Animal Hospital to everyone looking for a safe, clean and welcoming place to have your animal checked and taken care of.

I love Animal Hospital of Polaris. The doctors & staff are wonderful and treat both my pets and family with care.

The Animal Hospital of Polaris is wonderful. We have had a few situations where we have had to visit late night, and there staff has been very friendly, helpful, and accomodating. They really take an interest in all of our animals, and their well being. I appreciate all of the care they have provided for our animals, and the compassion they've shown us.

This place is great! Staff and doctors are knowledgeable and friendly. I've been bringing my dog here for several years now. Highly recommend to anyone in the Polaris area.

Have been here several times and have had nothing but good experiences. Everyone is friendly and knowledgable and seems caring and concerned for your pets. I highly recommend the services offered at the Animal Hospital of Polaris.

We had a great interaction with the staff here. We brought our dog in and they immediately diagnosed him correctly. He needed surgery for a bowel obstruction. Our phone calls were returned almost immediately and the staff was very helpful as we called multiple times a day regarding him! When we picked him up 2 days after surgery, he was so much better. They saved his life and for that we are grateful. We recommend them highly!
