Hi.
I am a career landscaper with over 35 years in the field. When it comes to repairs, I have repeatedly experienced horrible customer service, awful price gouging, and incompetency from most small engine equipment dealerships. Not so at Dupois. They have consistently provided me with ace mechanic service, at very fair prices. I am very difficult to impress, but these guys do just that, every time.

First rate customer service, these guys know the machines inside and out.

I needed a drive cable for a Yamaha YS828, a snowblower 27 yrs old...nobody stocks the parts. I was looking for some kind of solution of a cable to modify and those guys helped me out tremendously. I was back up and running with another major snow storm on its way.

Schofield Power Supply would not give me the time of day on such a small part...guess I will make all my new machine purchases at Dupuis.

This place is right up there for the worst customer service. Save yourself the aggrivation and go someplace else! I first dropped my push lawnmower off on a Monday. When I was giving the old guy my information for the ticket write up, I had a bad feeling about the service I was about to receive, considering he was writing my phone # down wrong. I corrected him and he stated that he had hearing problems, not to mention an attitude. The reason I dropped it off with them is because they stated it would be done in 3-4 days, which was the time frame I was looking for, as I was expecting guest over the weekend and needed to mow the lawn desperately.



All as my mower needed was a pull cord. I checked in with them on Friday to see if it was done and the guy stated that it was currently being worked on and should be done that day. I never heard back from them. On Saturday morning I called and was told by one of the guys that the mower needed a brake bar in addition to the pull cord and went on to say it was a Massachusetts safety violation and if they only fixed the cord they could be liable for any accident or injury that could come about. First, I highly doubt that every mower/piece of lawn equipment out there is in perfect condition. I was highly upset considering I was not going to spend all that money on a mower I paid $80.00 for 8 years ago.

They completely screwed up my day/weekend. Had I known this, I would have looked into other repair sources. I also called a couple of other repair places and they stated that they were full of crap. Because of this company, I had to purchase a pull cord and spend valuable time out of my only day off (in 5 weeks, might I add) to repair the mower myself, so yes, I am pretty pissed off to have my mower held for 4 days, only to be told some bull crap by a bunch of unprofessional morons.

Don't go there! I dropped off...

Don't go there! I dropped off a saw to be repaired over a week ago and the clerk explained it should be ready in a few days. I also picked up a chain while I was there.

(I have another saw but uses the same chain). I gave him the old from the saw, which he said could not be used and he would make up a new one. I took the new chain home and put on my saw and cut through about a half of a log. The chain jumped off and I looked at it and realized it was obviously the wrong size. The number on the chain was 35. All my other chains say 16.

I went back today Sat,1/7/12, as I happened to be in the area to return the chain and hopefully check on my saw. I didn't happen to have the claim check with me but could see my chainsaw was still where I left it. The clerk who sold me the chain was there and would not refund me or replace the chain, because I had put in on the saw. I asked if I could take my saw as I didn't want them working on it with that type of policy and obviously, if can't match a chain, may not be able to do repairs. The clerk was very unfriendly and obviously unhappy and would not let me take my saw without a claim check.
