Doug Collins started in the insurance business in the spring of 1987 in Fort Worth Texas; shortly thereafter he met his wife Melody in Arkansas where she was also getting in the business. They moved to Lubbock, Texas in 1990 where he was a Sales Manager for a top Insurance company. They moved from Lubbock, Texas in 1994 to Knoxville Tennessee and continued working in the senior market where his focus was Medicare supplements and long-term care. In 2002, Doug and Melody opened Senior Health Specialists and 12 years later we are still going strong. Senior Health Specialists is proud to have client relationships in 20 states and well over 4000 policyholders.
