On June 1st I had a recently purchased SUV towed to Mike's Auto Repair to replace a blown engine. I went there at the recommendation of a friend who said that he was capable and honest. He was wrong on both accounts. It took over a week for him to begin work and order a new engine from Jasper Engine a national company. The engine arrived in two days and he started work a few days after that. On june 21st I picked up the car. There was a broken part on the hood that needed to be replaced and I returned two days later to have that fixed. At the same time I told them that the brake light was on and they looked at it. While the mechanic was looking at the car he askd me to start the car and when I did it started to knock. The mechanic looked at me and said that I neede a new engine. Mike got involved and told me to take it home over the weekend. I took it back on Monday the 25th. The car sat there for 1 1/2 weeks with nothing being done . After asking several times over that time of when he was going to start work, he told me he would call Jasper and call me. On July 10th I still had not heard and called Jasper myself to explain the sitution. I asked if Mike was a recommended engine installer for Jasper. They told me he was not. They gave me two of their recommended installers in Lenoir City and Maryville. On July 13th I had the car towed to one of the recommended shops. I paid Mike over 6000.00 dollars and had to tow it to another installer with another blown engine and brakes that that were not working properly. I should have paid attention to my instincts as Mike's office and shop are a totally disorganized mess. There are several good auto repair shops in the area but Mike's is not one of them.

When you take a car into a shop you expect everything to be put back on the car that was removed. Unfortuatley, this was not the case with my son's Mazda Protege. they left one of two transmission mounting nuts off, left the entire protective cover off, when asked about it, he was sent to the mechanic who looked like a deer in the headlights and stated, "well, it stayed here a few days, I don't know if this is your part or not. My son knew it was and took it to finish himself. this was handled very unprofessionally and should never have been released without full assembly when the work was completed. This is carless and could result in futher damage to a car or even cause an accident. I was going to let them work on my truck, but no way wopuld I take anything wlse there after that incident. My son paid over $800.00 for this and it should have been completed.

As a single woman I have never been treated as an ignorant idiot or naive person here, but have been treated with the utmost respect from the gentlemen at this facility. The repairs are done RIGHT and the cost is more than reasonable. This quality and reliable service keeps me coming back again and again. I highly recommend Mike's Auto!

I have used Mike for all my car repairs for at least five years now. My experience is that he does excellent work. On more than one occasion he had checked out my car without charging me anything. He is also good about trying to have your vehicle ready at the pickup time that you request. I find his pricess are consistently better than those of his competitors. I will continue to use him for all of my future repair needs and I would recommend him to everyone who is in need of a repair.

I used mikes twice in the past month. He was very helpful, answered any questions I asked. Didn't charge me an arm and a leg. I will go back if any other problems come up. ( hopefully none!) Thank you Mike.Debra Martin

Mike was awesome for his time and service. A friend's car which had had issues for months died while on her way through the state. He took a lot of time trying to troubleshoot a problem that no one in Atlanta could figure out either. Although the problem is still elusive, he did not even charge for diagnostics because he could not find the actual issue.

Awful service... this place is a S-C-A-M!!!!

They do not stand behind their work, and the work they do... they do it poorly. I recently had my brakes changed, and not even two weeks later they began to make a screeching noise like they had before. I took the car back to Mike, he said he remembered me but could not find me in the computer. I later took my vehicle to Mitas, and they said that the brakes on my vehicle did not look new. I came to find out that Mike never changed my brakes. He simply "fixed" what he thought was the problem. So why did I pay for both labor AND new brakes when all I took was his time?
