In addition to being a Steelcase office furniture dealership, Scott Rice Office Works has access to furniture from more than 300 vendors, such as Broyhill, Cartwright, Cumberland, Leathercraft, Thomasville, Formica and Meadowcraft. The company also offers inventory management, office interior design services, warehousing, and refurbishing and reconfiguring old furnishings. Headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., Scott Rice Office Works was created through the merger of two of the city s most respected furniture and service dealerships: Color Art Office Interiors of Kansas City and Scott Rice Office Works. In 2001, the company established The Knowledge Center in Lenexa, Kan., which garnered an award from the American Institute of Architects.
