Mr. Davis was hired on June 5th to plant a row of 12 trees in our backyard and to plant a cherry tree in the front yard. He came to our house that evening and created a contract with us for $2700. We gave him a down payment of $2036. He told us he would call Alpine Tree Removal to have 3 existing trees removed to make space for the new ones. Alpine came and completed their job. After more than 2 weeks of no-shows, lack of communication, poor preparation and leaving 3 of the 12 trees in our yard without planting and no instruction on how to care for them and telling me to give him a few weeks to get the job done, we called to ask him to collect the three trees and give us a partial refund. He began to tell me by phone we had to pay additional costs above and beyond the costs of removing the trees and that he was not able to return the 3 trees he left in our yard. He canceled the rest of our order with the wholesale garden and refused to talk to me about any refund/reconciliation.
