I was held captive and transported far away from my home against my will today by a medical driver from Juuni Transportation and his supervisor. First he showed up more than 2 hours late then tried to drive me about 90 minutes out of my way. I told the driver and the supervisor that was not ok, I was not well and late and needed to get home after waiting so long for my ride. He thought my vision was so bad that I couldn't see so he drove me north anyway, trying to take me during rush hour traffic all the way from Kearny Mesa to La Jolla when I live near downtown. When I noticed, he and his supervisor refused to turn around, let me out, or pull over even when my medical insurance insisted. I had to threaten him with 911 and kidnapping charges before he would pull over almost an hour later. When he finally let me out, I was in Clairemont and still had to find a way home. This was a terrifying experience that no one should ever have to go through, especially someone with disabilities.
