Based in Leesport, Pa., Schuylkill Valley Elementary School serves more than 800 students in grades kindergarten through five and provides a variety of educational and extracurricular activities. Its academic curriculum includes science, art, computers, social studies, mathematics, language arts, foreign languages, reading, music, and physical and health education. The elementary school offers various health services for students, such as health screenings, immunizations, medication, emergency cards and individualized health care plans. Additionally, it provides a wide variety of facilities and services, including a library, cafeteria, transportation, lockers and student counseling. The elementary school is operated by the Schuylkill Valley School District.
