Dr. Lucas Richie is an American Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who has been with Premier Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine which became Hughston Clinic Orthopaedics since 2014. Dr. Richie is originally from Dayton, Ohio. He graduated cum laude from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He then went onto complete his medical education at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Upon completing his graduate degree, he completed a five year orthopaedic surgery residency training program with Michigan State University/Western Michigan University and spent the last year as Chief Resident. He was then fortunate to return home and complete an orthopaedic sports medicine fellowship with Beacon Orthopaedics where he was able to pursue his passion for orthopaedic sports medicine. This specialty training gave Dr. Richie to work with athletes of all ages and activity levels ranging from a state champion high school football team to the Cincinnati Reds of Major League Baseball.Dr.
