Rear Differential Seal repair was done wrong, resulting in damages they, so far, have not covered despite efforts to obtain reimbursement. The repair FAILED (their mechanic over-torqued the seal and broke the 'crush-tube' causing shavings off the differential). The failure resulted in damages+cooked-on-oil underneath a Collectors immaculately maintained car, a lost summer month getting the convertible car re-repaired and other inconveniencing expenses (i.e., for time and getting to/from repair shops) BEWARE their Napa Warranty only reimburses cost of the original repair, not damages.

The repair mistake was unintentional , but failing to reimburse resulting expenses HAS BEEN INTENTIONAL. Despite two attorney letters and 3 calls, they are not responsive to efforts to collect the remaining $800+ due. Now waiting on BBB before pursuing other collections methods. Can NOT recommend this place. Will update if they ever reimburse me for the costs. Can't reimburse me for the hassles fixing their poor repair.

I own 2 older cars that require repair and maintenance moreso than the average vehicle. When I can't do it myself, I can rely on David at Absolute Auto to get it done. The diagnosis and repair seems to be obtained with careful thought and understanding. Repairs are quick and at a fair rate. The only reason I would not want you to go there would be selfish- possibly keeping him too busy so I can't get into him for my repairs when needed, LOL. I have great confidence in referring others to him.
