Bought a pallet of St. Augustine sod and laid it immediately May 5. Half was laid on a slope; the other half was laid on flat ground. Greened up nicely. By May 20, brown spot fungus appeared. Sod bought by the piece from a place like Lowes has never done that. Seller did not want to hear abt. It.

This place is a little of the beaten path but its well worth the extra effort. Farmer���s has been around as long as I can remember and unlike the warehouse stores the staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help even with loading. The nursery is huge and they have a lot of unusual plants, different kinds of grass, and organic options.
