Trusted Tom Crews to file 5 federal tax returns for my family and company. As the IRS deadline approached it became clear that something was not right. Upon reaching the IRS deadline, Tom was only able to complete 3 of the 5 returns.
Poor advice from Tom resulted in a tussle with my family’s estate planning attorney, who upon reflection was clearly correct with her advice/work. Common sense enabled me to avoid taking at least one of Tom’s ill-advised recommendations. During a meeting to resolve these issues I was shocked when Tom abruptly stated that he no longer wanted my business.
Now 6 months later I am struggling with IRS issues on 1 of the 3 returns Tom did file. Never in my 37 years of business have I experienced this level of service from a person who represented himself to be a licensed professional.
