We had our basement finished in January of this year with Todd. We met him during one of my wife’s chemo treatments. He was receiving treatment as well and was so nice and friendly to everyone there that when we found out what he did for work, we had to have him out to look at our basement. Anyways, we didn't write a review initially after they were done. It didn’t cross our minds. But we had a toilet overflow last week in the basement and the baseboards had some water damage on them. We called Todd to see if he could help out and sure enough, he sent a guy out that Saturday morning to re-paint them. I had to take some time to repay him. Todd, Jen, Mario and the rest of his company are good people. We felt comfortable having them in our home. We knew money was never his bottom line. He just wanted us to be happy. We loved it when he said he’s never had a customer that he’d be afraid to run into at smiths. They created a beautiful basement for us. It wasn’t a 100% perfect process. We didn’t expect it to be. But we know the kind of trashy contractors that are out there, so we gave them some slack and they reciprocated. We are so happy we met him and so happy with their work.

Utah Basement finished my brand new Ivory Home basement. I was referred to them by my superintendent and later found out they have finished a lot of basements in my neighborhood. They did a superb job. They promised me 7-8 weeks to finish my 1900 sq ft and the work was completed 2 weeks late, due to my inability to finalize the design of the kitchen. Everything was within budget though and I wasn't asked to pay for anything more than what was initially agreed to. The workers were so respectful of my home and I felt comfortable enough to go visit them while they were working. I loved that they cleaned up every night. My wife and I would walk it every night and text Jen if we had any questions or concerns. Overall, I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting a beautiful basement in their home. They are professional, creative, friendly and completely reliable. My dad, who is a retired contractor raved about their professionalism and neatness/cleanliness. Thanks again guys!

We just finished with our basement project with Utahbkb and wanted to get online to share a little bit about our experience. We were really happy with the quality of the work and the workers that were in our home. They knew what they were doing and we trusted their expertise. My wife felt safe while she was home and while they were there. The management team was really good to work with and quick to respond to our texts. We knew what to expect and when to expect it. Whenever there was a change on our part, they were patient with us and we could tell they really cared about getting it the exact way we wanted it. There was a minor delay on their part and another delay on ours (we couldve been faster choosing our colors). However, we were really happy about how they worked with us and treated us fairly the whole time. And we really loved how they left the basement clean every night. We would gladly refer them with confidence.

Our experience with Utah Basement has been positive from start to finish. My husband and I had a couple of other companies come over and assess, but Todd was, by far, the most down-to-earth, personable and kind, which was why we decided to go with him. It was a quick and easy decision once we met with Todd. He spent over an hour in our home during the first visit, inspecting our house and sharing his recommendations. The staff was very organized. We were given paperwork, a schedule, follow-up calls and everything that was needed during the weeks leading up to the actual project. My husband and I had many phone conversations with Todd. He almost always answered his phone, and if he was in a meeting or on another project, he always returned our calls very promptly. Throughout the entire process, he has been of great assistance, and offering assurances along the way. Even after the project, I’ve had 3 different conversations with him. The customer service has been exceptional – Mario and the crews. Jen is very personable and caring, and she has shown exceptional service during the course of this project. I was always greeted with a smile by crew members, and they would always take time to explain what they were doing, if I was curious about the process. These guys worked their butts off for 6 weeks – with a positive attitude. They even cleaned up after themselves. They all worked together as a team. They always seemed to communicate very efficiently with each other very effectively, which created supreme efficiency.

I just finished my basement with Todd and Utahbkb and was really impressed with their speed and quality. I got 5 estimates and went with them because of their reviews online and their price. They werent the cheapest, but I felt paying an extra 2k was worth getting their organization. There were a few hiccups with the city and some minor issues/corrections along the way, BUT the way they handled it was so professional. I could tell they only cared about being fair to me and protecting their reputation. I would highly recommend them!
