Fast friendly accurate service, they always get approval before any work is done and the credit diagnostic fees back! That's unheard of! My bill always comes in less than I am quoted. I'll never take me vehicle anywhere else.

My check engine light was on so I took it to AutoZone to get it checked out, they told me it was the EVAP emissions system. I then took it to TUNEX to get it fixed, they ran a diagnostic test which cost $80. They told me it was the fuel sensor and that it would cost me $500. I am not familiar with cars so I trusted that that was the problem and that they would fix it. I get home and wake up the next morning to a flat tire that has a new screw pierced in it. I have to call in to work and miss a day to take it to Discount Tire and get it fixed. Thanks TUNEX. A few days later the the check engine light comes back on. I take my car up there to get it fixed. They tell me the code is for EVAP emission systems. I tell them no, that was the original code that was thrown. He then tells me that the fuel sensor has nothing to do with the evap emissions system, so I am wondering why I spent $500 to get my fuel sensor changed when it had nothing to do with the original code of EVAP emissions.

Very frustrating experience. After issues at another shop, I thought I was going to have good customer service here. The manager is friendly and seemingly helpful until there is a real issue or problem. Then he could care less. They have no flexibility to do the right thing. The estimate and issues kept increasing. After deciding that I was not going to get good care at Tunex in Layton, I took my car to yet another place and learned the issues were misdiagnosed. In the end I saved a few hundred dollars and my car is working great by not doing business with Tunex Layton.

I wouldn't bring my car anywhere else. The prices are good and the service is second to none.
