If I could give 0 stars I would- We used an agent, Liz, from this office this past summer and are extremely angry about how our transaction was handled. She left on vacation for 3+ weeks without giving us much notice. This happened right in the middle of our transaction after we put an offer in on the home. She said the fill in agent would have ALL our information. Well turns out this agent didn’t know a thing about our transaction, therefore leaving room for many mistakes on their end. This time in our transaction was crucial as we had issues with the house we wanted addressed and fixed. We gave Liz and the fill in agent a clear and complete list of what we wanted repaired. And I made it very clear that we didn’t want to continue with the contract if our items weren’t completed as we asked. She assured me that everything would be taken care of. Well issue after issue came up and in the end, we had a door that wasn’t replaced, and a fireplace that was supposed to be fixed that as of right now is not working (the owners did say they fixed it but they used a handyman of the street who was not licensed to be working on gas fireplaces). Every time I’d bring up an issue about the house she’d say “Oh well the home warranty will cover that”. We’ve had horrible experience with other home warranty’s and never trusted this answer…and this distrust is justified as I just made a call to the warranty about my fireplace that won’t start and they said that it’s not covered.



At final inspection (which I had to contact her about 6 days before closing and ask if we were every going to do one) we brought up to her about being concerned about who worked on the fireplace and about the door not being replaced and she got upset with us and stormed out of the house. She is OUR agent yet she had absolutely no support for us at all. She was actually fighting against us on these issues that we made very clear we wanted fixed. The sellers agent did more for us than she did. The day before closing the owners were supposed to put back the kitchen appliances that they illegally took from the house. Instead of her following up and keeping us updated on what was going on with OUR appliances she acted like it was no big deal. I ended up having to get my mortgage guy involved to call the sellers realtor and make sure the appliances were there because I didn’t want to sign papers without knowing this was taken care of.



At closing, she didn’t speak a word to us. No thank you, no good luck, nothing. The realtor’s office did send somebody out to check the fireplace. And they send me $150 to replace the door, however this was not nearly enough to replace it.



Bottom line is I feel like the very least that possibly had to be done was done throughout this whole transaction. As soon as we found a house and went under contract her work was done and she didn’t care at all about what happened after that point.



I feel cheated and completely taken advantage of. The amount of money we were spending deserved a lot more of her time and effort. I will NEVER EVER recommend these people to anybody, especially Liz Reedy. Not only would I not recommend them, I will continue to WARN everybody to stay far away from them.
