I wrote the review above regarding Dr. Kane several months ago. I've continued to utilize his services and am pleased to share that he's even better than I originally mentioned.What I particularly like about him is that he's direct and shares worthwhile suggestions. I'm so glad that I'm fortunate enough to have found someone whom I feel not only has my interests at heart but is really working hard to help me through some difficult times.

Excellent Psychologist - nice man too!I was desperate to find a good psychologist as I was new to Nassau County and hadn't had much luck yet. I found that several that I called who were approved from my insurance company didn't even bother to return my telephone calls - that's never happened to me before.I started seeing a psychologist who did grant me an appointment, but I was very dissatisfied - went 4 or 5 times, discussed my feeling that there was no rapport, and he didn't say or do anything to change my mind.I continued looking for a new Dr. to work with and it was my Psychiatrist who referred me to Dr. Kane. I've only see him 3 times thus far but I knew I'd been to the right person after the very 1st visit.He's compassionate, professional and knows his stuff! In my case at least, he's been right on the mark with the issues I'm facing w/ some solid advice!
