Morris Paving & Construction is a family owned and operated asphalt company. With very small beginnings, my grandfather started a small paving business in a little town just east of Pittsburgh, Pa. Many of my childhood memories consisted of watching and waiting for the moment that I was old enough to be part of the crew. I started with helping out in the summer months and stepped right into a full time position directly after high school. And just like myself my son, Morris Cooper 3, followed suit . I as young adult had been under the guidance of a grandfather and father in this industry for quite some time and felt the need to spread my wings and begin the adventure of starting my own business . Little could I imagine that I would have the privilege of being in two very different locations. It began with myself and my wife thinking we were going to escape the harsh winters of Pennsylvania with a trip to my aunts house in Florida, and became an opportunity of seeing a community that did not seem to have a lot of companies that offered the services that I knew I was capable of giving them . Many years later here I am with 2 locations Pittsburgh, Pa . and the pan handle of Florida.
