Great Chinese food ! L've loved this place for years , The food is excellent , Highly recommend !

Great food, excellent service. I've been to many Chinese restaurants over the U.S. and this is one of the best.

Oh my goodness..... this has been rated the worst Chinese food I have ever tasted! We'd just moved to Latrobe and wanted Chinese, I picked this place because of it's one and only review only to come to realize that the person who review it must not havve any taste buds! We ordered the combo (half the portion of a reg. size) sweet and sour chicken and General Tohs chicken. Both came with either fried rice or steamed white rice and an egg roll. We ordered and extra 2 egg rolls as we always do. All came out to about $19.



Came home, was excited only to gag on the sweet and sour sauce! THANK GOODNESS I asked for the sauce on the side! I don't know what it was, but it WAS NOT sweet and sour sauce! The only Chinese food I ever eat is Sweet and Sour Chicken, so I know what it is suppose to taste like! Ended up dumpin the sauce down the drain. I can usually get a combo platter and have enough chicken to share with my 3 year old and have left overs for the next day. By the time I put a couple of pieces on his plate, I have hardly nothing left and was stuck with a lot of white rice and veggies. Portion size, VERY small for the cost. So now, no sauce, no chicken, lots of white rice and moving onto the egg roll...... I mean GINGER ROLL! Gross!!!! Do they change their oil? EVER? I was so hungry that I ate it even though I gaged on the last bite. I was done, I'd had it. Ok, they couldn't mess up the fortune cookie, it came from somewhere else..... WRONG!!!! I had my son open it up because he loves the little notes inside. Where's the fortune???? There was no fortune paper inside!!! As for the General Tohs Chicken, hubby said it was...ok. Not like he is use to, there was no bite to it. He didn't like the egg roll either. Our very first try at Chinese in our new area and we got grossed out and not in a good way. We will never order from them again! If you are daring to try them, I wish you luck, but I don't recommend you wasting your time or your money.

The Golden Wok is a great place to get chinese food at lunch time (or any time). The service is excellent and the food is fabulous.
