Born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, tattoo artist Jesse Zarate expanded his art techniques while studying at the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago. Today, the human body is his canvas; his tattoo masterpieces draw from multiple influences and styles. Zarate's black-and-grey and color compositions are inspired by his imagination, modern pop culture, history and timeless religious traditions.
