Dr. Wolfram Samlowski is a medical oncologist at Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada (CCCN). He serves on the Developmental Therapeutics and Genitourinary Committees for US Oncology Research as well as a Clinical Professor of Medicine at University of Nevada School of Medicine. Dr. Samlowski has an expert in treating patients with melanoma and skin cancer, kidney cancer, sarcoma and serves as principle investigator on several clinical research studies available at CCCN. Dr. Samlowski has contributed to and authored over 250 publications, peer reviews and abstracts. He is a member of several professional associations including the American Federation of Clinical Research, American Society for Clinical Oncology, American Association for Cancer Research, Society for Pigment Cell and Melanoma Research. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Prior to joining CCCN, Dr. Samlowski was Professor of Oncology and Adjunct Professor of Dermatology and Pathology at the Huntsman Cancer institute of the University of Utah. Dr. Samlowski also served as director of Translational Research, Multidisciplinary Melanoma program at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, where he worked from 1984 to 2007. In 2007, he joined the Nevada Cancer Institute as Chief of Melanoma, Renal Cancer and Immunotherapy, and was appointed Professor of Oncology. He also serves as Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine.
