Terribly unorganized office staff! My friend changed insurance companies, but before that happened, I wanted to be sure WVI was on his plan. They said yes, an appt. was scheduled, and they told me to call back when I had his ins. information. I immediately did that. When we went to see them, they said WVI doesn't take my friend's insurance and that he couldn't be seen. They said there were no notes in the computer or his chart that I had called. Believe me, we were furious!!!! I've called the business administrator twice, and she has not returned my call. On top of that, they said we will be charged $ .60 per page of each page being copied for my friend's new eye doctor. Terrible service! The doctors seem to be very competent, although the one we were seeing left the practice, and we cannot be told where he went! When we've been there in the past, we've waited long periods of time to see the doctors...the staff wasn't very sensitive to our concern and complaints. They may be understaffed there; don't know for sure, but you might want to 'shop' elsewhere.

Technically, the physicians are first-rate. However, they spend virtually no time with their patients during office visits. Expect to be there at least 2-3 hours before you are finished. It is really a factory. A relatively minor quibble is that men are addressed by their first and last names or by Mr. X, while women are usually addressed by only their first names.

I’ve been thinking about having LASIK for years, but I would only trust my eyes with the best. I did my research and talked to optometrists and others whom had LASIK. Everyone agreed that the only person to go see is Dr. Wellish. The doctor and staff gave me first rate attention and answered all of my questions. The procedure was quick and easy. The best part about it was that I was seeing 20/15 the very next day! It far exceeded my expectations and I would recommend Dr. Wellish to anyone!!!

I went here for a LASIK consultation, and this Dr. told me he couldn't help me. I heard his ads for a LASIK study and thought I'd check it out. I didnt qualify for the study, and they had no idea how to fix m eyes. Ive since gone somewhere else, and had my vision corrected.
