AHAHAH BUGS! BUGS! BUGS! BED BUGS EVERYWHERE!DO NOT EVER LIVE HERE!We moved my grandmother into this place 6 months ago. We have just now found out that the place is crawling with bed bugs.The Main office was infested from a couch they bought and never knew had them until they spread everywhere. If you read about bed bugs they are the worst and hardest pests to get rid of. You have to treat the entire building not just one living space because they move. Well management said they treated the main office but now all the bugs moved and have spread to every living space on property and management will not do anything about it. They said its not their problem. The health dept told us they cant do anything about it and legally we cant get her out of her 3 year contract unless dies or goes bankrupt.IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH DO NOT LIVE HERE.

Absolute no, if you love spiders, roaches and scorpions this is the place for you. Not only is the place infested but the grounds are covered in mold, in the desert none the less. But if you love the appliances from when you were a child you will love the retro feel. Moved my mother in and out within a month because her ac never worked and she was staying with me anyway. Once you are in you are forgotten by management, but if you don't pay your rent they are knocking at your door, if you refuse to pay because the issues in your apartment the eviction process begins. The property is not safe just ask the drug dealers and crackheads that frequent this gated community. This isn't how I want my mother spending her twilight years but at least she didn't get robbed because the police are there multiple time a night.

My mother is recently widowed and was so afraid to live on her own. The staff at Villa Monterey have been so kind and welcoming, I would recommend this community to any senior looking for a safe and clean place to live. The neighbors are like family and right away welcomed my mother with open arms. The activities are wonderful and so many to choose from. It is such a breath of fresh air to see a senior community that actually cares about its residents. I cant thank them enough for being so wonderful to my mother. The apartments are clean and spacious with handicap accessable spaces. Thank you for your time.
