Pardee Homes develops new home neighborhoods and communities throughout Southern California and Southern Nevada. Established in 1921, it is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Company, a subsidiary of Weyerhaeuser. Pardee is also a leader in the development of green, sustainable homes. It is a partner with BIRA in the U.S. Department of Energy's Building America Research Program. The company has corporate headquarters in Los Angeles and operates regional offices in the California cities of San Diego, Orange County, Corona, Sacramento and Pleasanton. It also maintains a Las Vegas office. Builder magazine selected Pardee Homes as winner of its 2003 America's Best Builder Award. Pardee has also been featured in an episode of ABC-TV's hit reality series 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.'
