I went Sun Auto/ Blue Diamond to have them change the headlights to my 6 series BMW on a Saturday, I provided the new bulbs, their cost for similar bulbs was double. So the job was just for service/labor only $189 for changing the bulbs.

After I pick up my car and drove off I find the hi-beam bulbs in the back seat still in the packaging. I returned in minutes to be informed the hi-beam bulbs were not the correct size, however, I was not informed of that prior to or when I came to pick up my car or when I paid, which was agreed to change out both the low and high beams of both sides for a labor charge of $189.

After leaving, I take my car through a drive-thru carwash, which afterward water get into the headlights (see pictures), damaging the components inside the lighting structure. After review, it was found that the Sun Auto tech who worked on my car did not properly close the cap seal to the lighting compartment, therefore the water entry and damage.

I return to see if they could fix the lighting compartment and drain the water out of the lighting, to prevent any possible electrical shortage/fire. After only getting water out of the lighting compartment, the damage in the lighting compartment remained.

About a week later after I returned back in town, I again took the car to the same drive-thru car wash, only this time my signal LED light was full of water moisture and very loose. (see pictures).

Since then I have been getting the run-around (now a month) from staff and management, and final yesterday they are attempting to deny their faulty labor/service and blaming it on parts. This was human error/failure and not the mechanical parts which cause water damage and damage in the headlight compartment. Damage costing exactly, $2,695.94 parts and labor for their faulty workmanship of not properly sealing the lighting compartment cap. There is so much more to add to my horrible experience with this company. I recommend going elsewhere.
