Beware of working with this place, as they do not return phone calls. I really believe that the positive reviews are all FAKE. Now, if you don't believe me and decide to work with these guys, note the following precautions:



(1) Get everything in WRITING. These guys will not give you anything in writing because they know they are running a scam. If you get a warranty from them, make sure they specify in writing how long it will take for them to return your calls, send someone out, etc. By the way, other companies will specify a time in which they will send someone out if there is a problem, sometimes within a matter of days. If this company can't guarantee to send somebody immediately during an emergency, don't use them - are you supposed to wait until your house is damaged before they come out?



(2) Request an email address and business address from them. Everybody else in the industry has easy contact information - why don't these guys put their email address and business address on their website?



(3) If the owner comes out to give you an estimate, make sure he climbs up on his ladder and actually sees the roof. How are you supposed to get a proper estimate without him doing his homework? Reputable roofing companies will actually inspect your roof and do their homework.



(4) The owner likes to hide behind his answering service, which is incredibly cowardly. Try calling the owner and see if he picks up his phone - he'll never do this. How can you trust a business where the owner won't pick up the phone?



Seriously, be smart about who you use. There are plenty of other roofing companies that will do all of the above for you, and at a much better price.

I hope nobody ever has to use this company ever again. First, take a look at one of the positive reviews and who wrote it---the owner himself---so shady! If you don't believe me, go to the contractor's licensing board and look up who the principal's name is, then compare it to the names on the reviews.

This company is in the business of selling warranties that they have no intention of fulfilling. The owner of the business is apparently out soliciting new business while the existing customers are not taken care of.

In June, I noticed that I had some broken tiles. Living through a summer here in Vegas, I know how bad the rain can be and wanted to make sure that my roof was taken care of. Gino from Southwest Roofing on the phone told me that they had a minimum of $350, which worth about fixing 5 tiles. Understanding that minimum, Gino and his partner arrived and wrote me up a quote with a 2 year warranty for $965, saying this also included resealing any areas that need it as well as putting down any new underlayment if necessary. They said that if I want the work done, they could get someone out the next day and it would probably take more than half a day, but they were only going to charge me for half a day, which is the $965.

The next morning, I called back to I clarify with Gino first as to what the two year warranty meant. He told me that the extra money above the $350 was basically to buy the 2 year warranty on the entire roof for peace of mind.

They ended up sending over a worker around 10am. Instead of taking more than half a day to work on my roof, the guy spent less than an hour. I was very surprised, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt and thought to myself that I have the 2 year warranty to fall back on if the roof leaks.

Now, it's August, just two months later and I have a leak above the master bedroom area. I call Southwest Roofing the next day at 7:30am and a lady takes a message, saying someone will get back to me. 11am rolls around and I receive no phone call and so I call back and leave another message. Still for awhile nobody calls back and so I call Gino on his direct cell phone line and leave a message.

Finally I get a call back from Denise in the office saying first that they can't send someone out until at least 2 weeks. I tell her that in about 4 or 5 days, we are predicted to have a heavy storm come through. She tells me that she can't do anything about it. She then asks me if the leak was in the same area and I tell her that I never had a leak, that they were supposed to fix my roof so that I would not have a leak. She then said that they only warrant the part of the roof that they fixed that had a leak. I told her that this is not what Gino had sold me and that he warranted my entire roof. She then reiterated that she could not send anyone until at least 2 weeks. I asked to speak with Gino and she said that he was out in the field doing bids and never answers his phone.

Seeing that Denise was not going to accommodate my request to have the roof fixed in less than two weeks, I finally ask her to put me down in the books tentatively so I at least have an appointment. She said that she wasn't going to do that because she had to speak with Gino first and won't be speaking to him until the next morning, but will call me back the next day.

Well, the next day arrived and after not having heard from Denise all morning, I call and leave a message to call me back. By the time 5pm rolls around and still not having heard from anyone, I once again try Gino on his direct line, which he doesn't answer. Now, feeling like I'm being avoided, especially by the owner, I leave a message for Gino asking for my money back. He knows he's not doing honest business and so makes every effort to avoid me. Anyhow, finally at 7 something that evening, I get a phone call back from Denise, basically just reiterating that she cannot do anything for me.

If you need a roofing company call these guys and girls! They really helped me out of a bind. I hired 2 roofing companies before them to fix a leak in my house. Both were epic fails. Southwest Roofing Co found the leak right away and fixed it the first time. Go figure!

Southwest Roofing never showed up to fix my roof as scheduled but even worse they never bothered to call me either. I called them 3 times trying to find out what was going on. All you get is an answering service who takes a message and sends it to God knows who. They will not give you a direct number to anyone so you are completely at their mercy. I'm just shocked that no one bothered to call me back. I would have totally understood if it was human error but blatantly ignoring a customer is nothing but the worst customer service!!

Their work is professional. Southwest Roofing replace the entire roof on my house. The old roof was leaking and the frame had serious damage. They did the job as expected.My thanks to Southwest Roofing Company for great work and a nice experience. They done their work with honesty.. I am very happy to their work. didn't use this company to replace my roof because their customer service was so terrible.It seemed like they didn't want any new business judging from the way they answered the phone and talked to me.

first time I contacted them when I called, to the day they finished the job, my experience with this company was great! I called and spoke with a rep and explained my problem. Workers came quickly after and checked out my roofing problems.

The tehcnician they sent are roofing experts and did a magnificent job on my roof.

I didn't use this company to replace my roof because their customer service was so terrible. It seemed like they didn't want any new business judging from the way

they answered the phone and talked to me.

The contractor who worked on the shingles on my roof made an error and I didn't want to hire them again for poor quality of work and high price. So I tried Southwest Roofing Company and I was happy I made this decision. They worked fast, fixed the shingles on my roof to perfection and charged a reasonable price. They are good with the promise they give and I am a very satisfied customer

Southwest Roofing replaced the entire roof on my house. They did the job as expected. The roofers worked hard to complete the job within the time specified. They had to fix the frame as it was damaged in few places due to water leaks over the years. The work was professional
