My husband was there and we were given a letter stating the date the insurance would stop paying for his care. I arranged for a room for him at Pacifica but kept getting the run around from nursing. Then they said the doctor hadn't filled out his paperwork yet; so I tracked down the doctor and begged her to get his papers done so he could be transferred. She sat down and wrote stuff and got up and left. When I told the staff it was done they said she hadn't signed it. They screwed around long enough that I was told they couldn't transfer him that day. My husband had been sitting in the hall all day waiting to be moved and complaining but no one paid any attention to him. He said he was their hostage. I feel they keep you there because private parties have to pay them more than insurance does. I've talked to his insurance and numerous places who said they were absolutely wrong. Then I got a bill from them for $343.00. Just greed, incompetence, lack of caring or communication. Don't go there for any reason. They gave him so many pills at a time that he was vomiting. Avoid this place.

My mother was admitted for rehabilitation. Her stay was beyond rehabilitating. She Is a diabetic and continued daily to receive pure sugar instead of sugar supplement. The food was always cold and tasteless. There was no meeting with a dietitian and everyone ate the same. Baths are weekly, beds do not get changed frequent, and no one comes and clean the rooms and definitely not the bathrooms. The staff was not only unfriendly to the patients but to me as well. I advise family members to be active in your love one lives because i have never seen such uncaring professionals in a position to be caring and accommodating. The staff even looks miserable. I'm so glad my mother is out of there, God bless those left behind. Silver Hills, clean up your act and get a clue, you are the contact that some only have, show some compassion and treat them like they are your love ones.

Silver hills is the worst. Bad food. Bad service. Bad managers. Refused care for my father.Who does that? People don't even refuse care for animals. My dad got a bad infection from this place. And now they don't want him back.this place should shut down.

This place has a outstanding Physical therapy program. My mother had to go to a skilled nursing facility after falling and breaking her hip. Staff was very encouraging to get her back hom with us. And they DID.
