Called to see if they carried the battery I needed & to get a price. Maybe the woman was just having a bad day, but she seemed annoyed at my questions which were really out of line. For example I asked what the cranking amps were. Anyway was kinda of put off by her attitude so won’t be going there & spare myself getting the same help in person.

This is the best place to go for batteries. I have purchased a battery for my car, boat and motorcycle from Shelton. Highly recommended.

I bought a motorcycle battery last yearfrom these guys. It sat on my shelf, as my old battery still had some life in it. Went to switch it out, and the brand new battery wouldnt hold a charge. Took it back, and apprently I ruined it. They should let people know that a battery on a shelf needs to always be charged. Would only give me 15.00 warenty money on a battery that was never used. I have been a customer for 20 years, and refered a lot of business to these guys. It seems the bottom line is the most important thing now. I will take my business elsewhere, where a company will stand behind a product, and let you know about maintaining a battery thats being stored. I am out 100.00

Bought a battery two months ago, now that its cold it failed to start my motorcycle. Took it back to them and they said I abused it. Really? I used it to start a motorcycle until it died. Said they won't replace "abused" batteries. Typical, nobody stands behind the Chinese crap they sell.

I needed a new battery and my husband came across Shelton Battery. He called and they told him that they had a refurbished battery for my car and they would hold it for me. When I got there Brian looked for it and said that he didn't have it. Needless to say I wasn't very happy. He then said that he had a new battery. Im thinking oh great how much is that gonna be. I ended getting a brand new battery for $54 and Brian even put it in for me(I dont think they normally do that). Anyway it ended up to be a good experience. Fast, friendly, and helpful! I would recommend for anyone that needs a new battery.

I am a car dealer and often need to replace batteries. If you are looking to replace your vehicle's battery but do not wish to pay the high cost of a brand new battery, then go to Shelton Battery and get yourself a reconditioned one in the $30 range. In most instances, they will even install it for you at no extra charge. As of this day, November 7, 2012, Autozone currently charges $115.99 for their Duralast Gold and $99.99 for the standard model. Wal-mart auto batteries start at around $80. Long gone are the days of new batteries in the $50 and $60 range, so Shelton is where I go!
