When we started out with Senior Dimensions 9 years ago, we were promised that Henderson would have adequate staffing on this side of the valley. In the last few years, good doctors seem to disappear overnight and are not replaced with MDs but with PAs. PAs are okay for treating colds, flu and uncomplicated problems but there is a real danger that they could and do miss serious problems. When confronted with a patient who continuously complained of a burning in his lungs, fatigue and shortness of breath when doing work, they checked for pneumonia and a lung problem. Passed him on a wellness physical and finally after several months, gave a referral to a pulmonary doctor and a cardiologist. I took him to the emergency room where a cardiologist saw him immediately and told us the "burning in the lungs was actually chest pain and after running tests, the next day he had a cardiologist, a heart surgeon and they were lining up a kidney specialist, a pulmonary specialist and an infectious disease specialist. How did they miss the burning in the lungs and fatigue and shortness of breath as signs of a serious heart problem? Why weren't the referrals marked urgent? Patient died. In the last few years I have lost two primary care doctors who were replaced by PAs and yesterday I went to keep an appointment with my cardiologist only to be told he was no longer with the company. The company may not be able to stop doctors from moving on but there is something wrong when doctors suddenly leave and they don't replace them. It is also disturbing that PAs are doing more and more of urgent care calls. I know their work is reviewed by an MD but question when this is done?
Once might be coincidental, twice is suspicious and three times ?.
Have written to the corporate office on several occasions but never got a reply.

Senior Dimensions, all locations included, are the worst experiences you are going to encounter. From the overbooked, inept, apathetic doctors, to the lax office staffs, to the overcrowded offices and facilities, all are a disaster.

Owned by the reprehensible United Health Care, the bottom line is the only concern Senior Dimensions has. Patients do not matter at all. The worst of the worst

This is the worst health care in the world. They treated me for terminal cancer for 5 years and I never had it and had massive stroke and heart attacks, clots seizures lost of all my teeth from the chemo every three weeks and radiation. They have killed me and know will not help me with the pain they have caused. Tried to sue for 10 yrs but the malpractice law that you were tricked into signing into law and made it impossible to hold the doctors accountable for what they did. Now they refuse to help with all the heart damage and pain and bone damage caused by the radiation and 5 yrs of every three week of cancer treatement. I died from it and was in intensive care for two weeks and given last rites and told husband to prepare for my passing. I live in so much pain and they refuse to help me. The last doctor told me to find someone else and turned her back on me and left me hanging with no medicine for anxiety, depression, pain and heart problems. No doctor will help me!!!!

2015 seems to be the year for the worst medical care available from Senior Demension. It takes 2-3 months to schedule an appointment with your primary M.D.. The M.D. I tried to establish with is a joke, no examination, didn't want to see any medical records or lab results. He was very concerned to hear I use Lorcet for pain and have used it for many years. Actually ordered a urine tox, it only was positive for opiates, what a waste of insurance money. Made me sign a "Narcotic Agreement " will only get Lorcet from him, no other M.D.'s or hospitals can order it for me or he will NEVER AUTHORIZE any future refills..what an idiot!!!!! Writes a prescription for 60 tablets which can be used three times daily- the main problem is that means the prescription should be for 90 tablets!! When I told him I have autoimmune diseases he glared and asked why would I think that??? Was diagnosed years ago!! I have orthopedic problems and asked for a referral for my left knee so I could resume my previous treatment, my right knee has been replaced,he ordered an X-ray of the right knee and did the referral for the right knee...I began working in the medical field in 1972 and the poor care and attitude of this M.D. is horrible. I did get a referral for seeing a Rheumatologist ( took 3 weeks instead of the 5 days he said to allow) I have been to Urgent Care twice for swelling and pain in my right lower leg and ankle, went to another SWM M.D. as she had a cancellation. She ordered an X-ray and orthopedic walking boot. I told her I was afraid to keep having this problem as I have a history of osteonecrosis in my right wrist as well as osteoporosis. To diagnosis it I had to have an MRI. At least she listened. The SWM Clinic I am assigned to is on Grand Monticeto, the M.D. Who has done nothing for me other than signing the narcotic use is Dr. Manuel. We deserve to be treated with respect. We deserve to at least see an M.D. Who might at least act like they gave a crap about us. His rating is O.
