After 2 weeks of waiting for the office to Fax an MRI request, I finally called last week and asked if they had faxed it. I left a message, received no call back, but eventually scheduled my appointment. After the appointment, it turns out the PA (as the Dr actually never sees patients) had incorrectly written the diagnostic request.



I have now been trying to reach ANYONE at their office all week. Finally, Wednesday they call back. I had requested to speak with the PA on each message, Chrystal Taylor will not call her patients back. Instead, she has untrained office staff call back. I attempted to go over the issues, and was treated like dirt. After a transfer hang-up, I called back. 5 Times in a row, the person answering picked up the phone and hung up.



I eventually picked the wrong extension, as was connected to a nice lady in the back office. However, she transferred me to Chelsea, a woman I have seen scream and yell in the back before. She loudly talks about patients in the waiting room, but makes sure she is never visible.



She complained that I was "blowing up her phone" and "yelling" at her staff and threatened to "Discharge me from Dr Basu's Care." I never raised my voice, she lied to me about the office's access to my MRI's, and kept threatening "You want me to discharge you?" any time I asked a question, or ATTEMPTED to describe WHY I needed to speak with my Health Care Provider, anytime later.



I have seen patients be treated like this on a dozen occasions. The Office staff treats people like they are dirt, and somehow waiting 2 hours to NOT see the DR, but instead her PA, is a privilege you should bow down for.



I come from a Family of Dr's and Surgeons. All of our Family friends are Dr's and Surgeons. NEVER HAVE I EXPERIENCED AN OFFICE MANAGER THREATENING ME AND LYING ABOUT MY CARE.



Yes - Chelsea the Office Manager believes she has the right to review your records, disclaim findings, talk about a report that has yet to be delivered, as well as OVERTALK you very loudly, while accusing you off yelling, as if her lying makes it true. Through all of the frustration, I have not raised my voice once. I have had monthly appts (48) for 4 years. My average wait time is 1:15 minutes. Although I have hear Chelsea say disgusting things about other patients in the waiting room, I have never been a victim of her tirades. That ended today, as she took on the role of Health Care Provider, Patient Discharger, Radiologist, and diagnostician.



All I need is to have a 5 minute conversation with Chrystal Taylor, whom I thought was a caring PA. SHe is responsible for the MRI's not being sent out originally, for describing the need for the report as "Back Pain" with no other Radiologist instructions, and she is the one who is refusing to talk to me. A lesson learned: Just because someone feigns caring about you when you PAY for a visit does not mean they will bother to return your calls when in need - and NOT being PAID.



Lastly - The only person legally allowed to intervene on my behalf and have the MRI study written correctly was the PA (Chrystal Taylor) who authored it. If Dr Basu had been in town, she could have as well. Instead, these MEAN, ANGRY, THREATENING WOMAN named Chelsea has taken all of the power to her head, and is in her world able to discharge and treat patients.

Rude Staff and Money-Hungry Doctor

This has been the worst exerience I have ever had with a doctor. The staff (especially Keri) is the rudest I have ever seen. The wait times are absurd. It shoudn't take 2 hours from your appointment time to see the doctor everytime you come in.



They double and triple book. Need that money. My opinion was confirmed when I needed some FMLA paperwork filled out for work absenses. They had the nerve to charge me $90 for a page and a half. It literally took her 3 minutes to fill it out.



I woud not refer anyone here. BEWARE! I left to see a different pain management doctor that really seems to care about me and my injury.



This doctor needs to fire her entire staff and take more time to listen to her patients. It's too bad, she seems like a pretty good doctor, but the total experience is completely awful.
