would have given this store a positive rating if it was not for their disappointing customer return policies and dishonest/ignorant salesmanship. While the store is small it provides a clean sales floor and wide variety of Filipino media items from DVDs CDs and magazines. The store also retails in the plug-and-play karaoke machines. They sell a very popular model being the Magic Sing M#: ET19KV.



I was interested with the item and asked a salesperson the available features and price of the product. Samut-Sari retails the device for $450 with only 1 karaoke song chip. To my dismay rival local retailers and the retailing website for Magic Sing sell the product for $349 with 2 complimentary song chips. During sales inquiry I asked the salesperson if this was the average price for this product versus other local retailers. The salesperson responded "This is the best price you will get anywhere."



Trust fell to poor judgement I purchased the product and discovered the overly grossed pricing difference. I requested a refund and was offered only an even exchange or store credit.



A business reserves the right to charge goods or services at any price they deem fit. While I respect this practice, I expect the honesty and integrity of a business to price their goods within the range of the existing market price. Along with honesty and integrity a salesperson should not claim the "best price" when in truth they are overly priced.



To sum up my rant IF YOU DECIDE TO BUY PRODUCTS FROM THIS STORE, CHECK THE PRICE IF IT'S FAIR, BY DOING SOME HOMEWORK, AND AVOID PURCHASING LARGE TICKET ITEMS FROM THIS RETAILER!
