DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!! Dubious practices. They will trick you into signing a lease. They take advantage of people from out of town. BBB didn't even rate it!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

seriously save yourself and don't even look on here, some of the amenities are good. That is the only reason why i moved here but then after everything I've been through don't fall for anything they try to buy you into staying here. I've lived here for 2 years and it's been bad. MAINTENANCE GUYS ARE AWESOME, and super cool. I've been taking pictures to prove how awful this place is. Garbage is always on the ground all over the place. I live on the first floor. When they bring out a 3rd company to do maintenance and start using their blower machine to move things off the ground all that dirt and dust went through my window and got all my stuff dirty. I've tried to call right when they open at 9am and they must not turn their phones on until later which was a big inconvinced to me, since i'm the resident and was calling on my time when they were suppose to be open. Literally every time I see the office people they wont say hi and aren't friendly.

UPDATE:

So after living here since 2013, boy have my views changed. While it still isn't entirely terrible to live here, this new management.... Wow. The office can seriously care less about you or your troubles, so you better never have troubles with rent. The late fees are crazy and you can't pay ahead of time in increments (only full amount), which was a nice convenience in the past. I still think it's a decent place to live for the cost.

I just recently moved in and so far I love it.

After reading all of the reviews, I honestly don't think I live in the same place as they do. Yes, further down the road the area gets ghetto, but Rebel Place is on the 'good' end. I haven't seen any fights or smashing of beer bottles in the parking lot and the noise level is average. Especially for being a student apartment (or basically advertising for students, hint 'Rebel' Place). I am a student and I know the dorms can be much louder than this. The apartment itself is a decent size. Again, if you're a student, you'll appreciate it in comparison to living in dorms (UNLV does not have private bedrooms, you'll have to get a single room which will cost more). I love that I have my own bathroom and my roommates are nice (the survey is useful, NOT a waste of time to get roommates similar to you).

I lived at rebel place for 1 and 1/2 years, it is a decent place if you first come in to town. here are some things they do not tell you. - It is located in one out of the 2 most dangerous areas in Las Vegas (you can call the local police station or look online) - there are people of all ages living with you. In the 2nd half of the year my apartment "got a new roommate", who was some elderly very creepy guy living of welfare. You also see people in there 70-80s who decided to pay for a room at rebel. - Really make sure that you use the first 3 days to change rooms to a room where you know that you can stay with them for the rest of you stay. - Don't get to exited when you see there "sample room". your wont be as new, nor clean, nor will you hallway have "air-fresheners" (at the outside of your apartment). - lastly look at more reviews most of the 5 star ratings are rebel place staff. not sure how the rating got so high. hope I could help

Nothing's good about this place, the only reason I chose this place is the shuttle that suppose to take students to and from UNLV, but now the shuttle only comes when it comes, the place is worthless. Not to mention the horrible management onsite...

This is the absolute worst place to live. I would never recommend these apartments to anyone. I have never witnessed a more poorly run property. To start off the rent is extremely overpriced for the space you are paying for. Not to mention the cheap appliances that constantly break and when they do "work" they definitely don't work very well. They find any possible way to charge you extra fees. Management handles situations in the absolute worst manner possible.

I just moved out and received a bill for ridiculous charges that management should take care of themselves anyways. Such as carpet cleaning, replacing light bulbs, and touch-up paint.

Anyone would be completely stupid to live in these apartments. I hope nobody makes the same mistake that I did by living there.

Don't live here any good reviews are posted by employees and not by actual residents. They don't care about you and once you sign your contract you are stuck with no way to get out except for finding someone else to take over your lease and trust me NO ONE WANTS TO TAKE IT OVER. I am going to be a senior and I will be moving back into the dorms at UNLV because it is 10 times better living conditions than here. I don't understand how a fairly new property has so many problems, yes I do it's management and maintenance staff. THEY ARE HORRIBLE.

First bit of advice: If consid...

First bit of advice: If considering Rebel Place - Reconsider and GO SOMEWHERE (ANYWHERE) ELSE!!!

Neghborhood:

Rebel Place leads you to believe it is in a good neighborhood.... LIE. Go ten steps up the road from Rebel Place and that puts you smack dab in the middle of an obviously "rough" neighborhood. Don't believe me? You don't have to, you can go see for yourself.

Management:

Like many have already said, the management here is awful. They will lie until they are blue in the face if it gets you to sign the lease then say "tough cookies" once your stuck.

They give you a $25 electricity cap and yet somehow, one person not using the A/C and cooking once a week with no tv can magically go over that cap by $80 - their explanation: "electricity is expensive".

I know it seems hard to believe that any type of management staff could be so utterly inept but TRUST ME, Rebel Place management is as inept, hopeless, and utterly brainless as it gets. I wouldn't wish these people on my worst enemy and as such, I am pleading with those considering this place, for your own good and peace of mind, DO NOT BOTHER STAY AWAY!!! Some of you may choose to ignore my warning, if you do I am so sorry I could not prevent you from making what will undoubtedly be one of the worse mistakes of your life

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT LIVE HERE...

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Horrible place to live. From beginning to end my entire experience here was a nightmare. Moving in my room was dirty and uncleaned. Asked for it to be cleaned before I moved in and they told me tough Sh@t. Rooms are small and overpriced. They try to make it sound like your getting a deal but in reality they are ripping you off. Charge you fee's for everything that they can. Maintenance is slow to respond if they respond at all. Rooms are run down and everything is constantly breaking. The location is dirty and dangerous, cars get broken into even though they have "security". By far though the worst part about rebel place is the customer Service. They do not care about there tenants in the slightest. The staff is a joke, they are rude and uncaring. Please safe yourself the money and the heartache and live anywhere else but Rebel Place.

I have lived in 7 apartments i...

I have lived in 7 apartments in 5 cities, and this is by far the worst place I’ve ever lived in my life. Nearly every second of the 1 month I tried to live there was a nonstop hell.

It LOOKS nice. But are you looking for:

- Mechanical noise that sounded like a jackhammer rattling my paper-thin walls at all

hours of every night? CHECK

- Music and TVs from neighboring apartments blaring through these walls? CHECK

- Non-residents from the crime-ridden neighborhood sneaking in through the gates

at all hours, and I never once saw the security guard who was supposed to be

there? CHECK

- Fights and smashing bottles in the parking lot every weekend? CHECK

- “Security windows” that anyone could smash and open in 5 seconds? CHECK

Worst of all, I was paired with a cigarette-smoking roommate – and I’m a nonsmoking, cigarette-allergic person who made that clear on my survey before signing the contract, which says “Nonsmoker’s rights prevail.” I got bronchitis and, when Rebel Place refused to find me a new roommate or void the lease since it had been violated, I moved out. They have been harassing me ever since.

In summary, if you want an over-priced, low quality, unsafe apartment in a crime-ridden neighborhood, owned and operated by a spineless, dishonest, soul-less corporation called Peak Campus that treats tenants like ATMs, this is the place for you.

Not worth the money or aggrava...

Not worth the money or aggravation that can be had staying here. This place can go so hot or cold, it doesn't seem like they can figure it out. While living there the past year, they've had their management company change, been through 3 security outfits, with good reason I might add. Sure the physical property is nice, and the outdoor set up with the pool and jacuzzi are great, but that's about it. I made the mistake of getting an apartment near the pool, and I learned very quickly that meant very little peace and quiet. They play music out there during the day, and this past year they had a DJ spinning by the pool during the day on Fridays, so the fact that I wanted to sleep in or maybe watch some TV in my room was a moot point. I'm sure many current and past residents would agree with me that this place is about one step up from the dorms, and honestly, it's kinda got that whole "dorm" feel, but minus the RA's to make sure people actually behave. If you wanna be close to campus and pay a bunch of money, enjoy living here, I wish you the best.

Since moving in here, i have not had any issues at all. The staff is all new and seem to be really nice and on top of their game. I have heard about things in the past and doing some research, I understand that REBEL PLACE (this place) and REBEL HOUSE (a nasty place) are often confused in stories of things bad happening. This place has been super safe, clean and mostly quiet. I only hear the people above me occassionaly. The pools with a shallow lounging pool and then a HUGE 40 person hot tup and then a regular swimming pool with big screen tv, wet bar and bbq are awesome. The staff is always throwing pool parties and giving stuff away like free gas cards is great. The game room is AMAZING but i never see anyone in using it. I've shot pool a couple times and watched TV on the huge tv they have... This is STUDENT HOUSING... it's not here for families with children or adults. this is upscale CLEAN, NICE, NEW apartments for STUDENTS.... i really dont know what you are complaining about..... the guards that were hired walk the property and I haven't heard of any issues in the couple months i've been here... cheers to the new manager and her staff for turning this place around!
