It is a shame that Dr. Dewan, who is a great Pediatric Endocrinologist, hires such an unprofessional office staff. I would give him 5 stars, but unfortunately I have to deal more with the front office staff than Dr. Dewan. Never returning your calls in a timely manner, interrupting you while you are explaining what is needed, and claiming they never received faxed prescriptions from a pharmacy they always do business with all means that customer service is not a priority. I am sure they have many tasks to perform and probably deal with many people who are difficult, but at this point I would probably get better service at the VA. Unfortunately I can not tell this directly to Dr. Dewan unless I have an appointment or send him a certified letter in the mail.



Dr. Dewan is great with my son and I highly recommend him. However, I wish he would put more effort into selecting quality staff who believe in customer service and doing what is right. It may not be fair to give him a low rating because of his staff, but ultimately he is responsible for the hiring of said individuals. I promise if the experiences improve, I will revise my review.

Dr Dewan is a wonderful, caring, understanding human being! Day or night 5pm or 1130pm bet for sure you will be talking to him & not no answering service! Staff are great, very welcoming & professional wouldn't change!!

His front staff deserves 0 stars. Incompetent and rude every single time!

Unfortunately, this reflects badly on him.

THIS DR. HAS GIVEN ME WAY MORE KNOWLEDGE ON DIABETES. HE APPEARS TO KNOW WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT. IT IS VERY HARD FOR ME TO TRUST A DR. AND I AM TRUSTING HIM WITH MY DAUGHTER. HIS STAFF IS NICE AND I DON'T REMEMBER EVER REALLY WAITING. IT SUCKS TO WAIT BUT IF HE IS SEEING PATIENTS, WELL THEN I GUESS A WAIT IS EXPECTED, ESPECIALLY FOR A REALLY GOOD DOCTOR.

I have never in my life experienced such service/staff as I have at this office. I have no complaints about appointment times, but rather the rude incompetency of the office. They don't return calls. Prescriptions aren't called in and they can't answer questions. There seems to be a high turnover there and the staff just blames the last person who has left. I even tried the office manager but couldn't even get a call back from him. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of pediatric endocronology doctors in Vegas. I do really like Dr. Dewan, but HATE having to deal with his incomptetent staff.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Dewan for 18 months. He is an excellent physician - knowledgeable, direct, careful in his explanations. In the beginning we had long waits. Over the last 9 months the staff has improved greatly. Wait times have been 10-30 minutes.

My daughter is being treated by Dr. Dewan and he is wonderful. We were seen within a half hour of our appt time, which in vegas is great. He is wonderful and I would highly reccomend him

Personally, Dr Dewan is great but to see him you will have to go through the incompetence of the Peds staff. There will always be a (literal) 1-2 hr wait regardless of your appt time. The 10 min of actual time with the Dr is not worth the 3 hour block of time that must be set aside for an appointment that you will not be seen at. If at all possible, avoid the Peds clinic and seek another Dr elsewhere.
