I got a gate also and the latch was close to the wall. When I called they advised me that the full size lock will not fit and that I would need to buy a smaller style lock. So I went and returned the big lock and found the smallest lock they had and it worked fine. When I asked why they build it like this they told us because it maximizes they opening for the gates so people can get lawn mowers and wheel barrows through there gate opening. Makes since to me. The other option that the estimator gave us was to install a keyed lock but we didn't want to spend the extra money so the gate we have is perfect. Thank you Olson Iron

The actual work looks good if you can get it really done. I've had to deal w/ this Co. for several months now and still haven't gotten my work finished. They make false promises and have no organization in the office. Jennifer is the worst office manager and made several appointments w/ me to get work done and no one showed up, or they showed up several hours late. The installers take no care to installation or your existing surroundings and put overspray all over my Brand New wood flooriing. They didn't cover the fresh wood shoe I had put down and put weld burn marks in my wood. The actual Iron does look good.So if you could just get them to make the iron, and someone else put it in this Co. would be ok for that.

WE CONTACTED OLSON IRON TO GIVE US A BID ON OUR IRON GATES. THEY CAME RIGHT OUT, WHILE THE WERE ON THERE WAY THEY SENT ME TO THERE WEBSITE TO REVIEW THERE PRODUCTS FOR AN ESTIMATE AND WE DID. THE ESTIMATOR SHOWED UP A LITTLE LATE BUT CALLED AND INFORMED US THAT HE WAS RUNNING BEHIND WHICH WAS OK FOR US. WHEN HE GOT HERE WE HAD CHOSEN 3 DESIGNS HE MEASURED OUR OPENING, DREW US 3 PICTURES OF THE GATES AND PRICED EACH ONE LIKE HE SAID. WE ENDED UP GOING WITH THE VALUE STYLE GATES BECAUSE THAT ONE FIT OUR BUDGET. WE REALLY LIKED THAT OLSON IRON HAD MANY OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM IT REALLY HELPED. THE SALESMAN THAT CAME OUT TO OUR HOME WAS THE OWNER OF OLSON IRON BO OLSON, HE WAS GREAT, WE GIVE OLSON IRON 5 STARS FOR A JOB WELL DONE. THANKS GUYS
