Do not ever lease a property being managed by Newman Property Management. I leased a house for 2.5 years and left it in way better condition than when I took possession of it. I paid a professional cleaning crew to come in to clean, filled the nail holes (even ones that were there before I took possession). I also had the palm trees cleaned out back which were in horrible shape when I took possession and had the weeds pulled. There was garbage mixed in with the fill in the backyard when I leased it and it was exactly as I received it. It was not painted when I moved in, door knobs were broken, etc. and yet they kept $700 of my deposit for all the things that were wrong when I moved in..... NEVER, NEVER, NEVER lease any property from this low life property management company. Seriously! Spread the word!!!

I Lived in a property managed by this company. My lease was up in 30 days sent Brenda a noticed that i would move out of the unit, I moved out as I had told her, I dropped off the key in a night drop, a week later. I recently pulled my credit report to find out that I had been wrongly evicted from this property. I sent Brenda a copy of the letter along with her response, and I asked her how could she evict me, as I no longer lived in the unit, her harsh and unprofessional response was shocking. I'm currently fighting with this company to set this right. IF I WERE YOU I WOULD'NT MOVE INTO ANY UNIT THESE GUYS ARE MANAGING.

Scammer Alert They Keep Deposits

I would give minus 5 stars if I could. Just like the other review the lady was totally correct.

These people are out for themselves. They will charge you for everything. Upon moving I left the place move in ready. Carpets cleaned professionally, had a professional cleaning company come in, I filled holes from pictures and spot painted whole house. Cleaned the yard and washed the garage. I did everything that was asked of me and it even specified on their lease. When turning in the keys I also turned in receipts showing the work done. They took the whole 30 days to give me my deposit back and shorted me almost $ 800.00 charging me for cleaning carpets, paint, and cleaning the house when I already did the work for them. I am getting charged twice. I also had an altercation with Brenda about the rent one time. I bounced a check by accident and they charged me $ 300.00 when I realized that the check did not go through I immediately payed in cash, then they put the check through again after I paid and overdrew my account. Stay far away from this place. The parolee working the front tried to rip us off $ 300.00 by making the receipt short. I am glad I noticed that or I would be out that money too.

The woman who owns this business is beyond rude and unprofessional; she is downright nasty. Before my daughter and her roommate even moved into an apt managed by Newman, Brenda sent us a slew of nasty threatening messages to "get that guy out of my property" (HER property?) because she had forgotten that we had already sent her his application and app fee. There is a $75 deductible you have to pay for any repair not reported the first week, so you're stuck paying for property repairs such as stopped up toilet, broken fridge, broken garbage disposal etc whose malfunctions don't manifest til after the first week. Also, they will charge you $50 to replace a lost key even though they have a key machine in their office so it costs them like $1. The office help looks like he's on parole ... Falling down pants, backwards baseball cap, tattoos, etc. I'm all for expressing yourself and rehabilitating people who have served time BUT PULL UP YOUR DAMNED PANTS.

*******ZERO STARS********THIS MANAGEMENT COMPANY IS THE WORST. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM AT ALL. Unfortunately I have had the rental experience from hell by Brenda Newman and her office of incompetents. First of all, this office is run by her family, and I dont mean that in the nice way. She has hired her sons, son's girlfriends and whoever else may have needed a job without any understanding of what business they are preforming or any knowledge of how to answer a question without being condisending. My experience with this company began with moving into a filthy place. AND I MEAN FILTHY. The carpets were disgusting and were clearly not professionally or otherwise cleaned since there were hundreds of office staples all over it, that we stabbed our feet on. Two days after move it which was a Friday, the lighting fixture in our closet caught on fire and scorched the ceiling. We immediately called the management company to have someone fix it for our safety and their was no reply until Monday at which time they had another incompetent handyman come out and try to fix it on Tuesday. This man ended up blowing out our hall light fixture, once he got our closet light fixed which he never came back to fix. On top of this they charged us $75 for him to come out and fix it saying it was our fault. Then five months later their water softener system broken and clogged up all of our pipes and effectively stopped all the water from getting into the house. We called on a Thursday night to have it fixed. No one called us back. I called Friday, ALL DAY LONG, since we had NO WATER! NO RESPONSE! I called all day Saturday, NO RESPONSE! STILL NOOOOO WATER! I called all day Sunday and finally got a response via TEXT MESSAGE!!!!! I WILL REPEAT THAT, I GOT A RESPONSE VIA TEXT MESSAGE that she was at the lake and didnt get my messages and that she would send someone on MONDAY to fix it. I had already called the Nevada Tenants Rights help line by this time since we were at 3 DAYS WITHOUT WATER ALREADY WITHOUT A RESPONSE FROM ANYONE, to find out what we could do. After I told her that we had called she finally sent someone to fix it around 6 o'clock Sunday evening. And never replaced the water softener system that was written into our lease as the a feature of the property. Then our washer went out and she wanted us to pay for a new one stating that our washer was a SMALL APPLIANCE, and that our lease states we have to replace small appliances ourselves. Absolutely absurd! Since when is a Washing Machine a small appliance. She finally has someone come our and try to fix it then gave up and told her that a new one was necessary. We were then charged another $75 dollars to have that man come out and do nothing. This is just a small taste of what you will get with this rental company. STAY AWAY! We are now having to dispute our deposit return since they are charging us for things that were listed in our renters checklist upon move in as being broken. THESE PEOPLE ARE DIRTY AND BRENDA NEWMAN SHOULD HAVE HER LICENSE REVOKED!!!!!!
