I have to disagree with the mom who posted her review in March 2011. I have been taking my child to this provider since he was born and the policy of the office is to charge $50 to patients that do not show for their appointments and do not call either. If you are more than 15 mins late however, they may make you reschedule your appointment but they do not charge you $50. As many times as I've been kept waiting past my appointment time, you have to realize that this doctor is the ONLY doctor of his specialty in Las Vegas. Can you imagine how many children he sees between the office and the hospital? In my oppinion, any parent that doesn't realize he is doing the best he can for each and every patient that is referred to him, then maybe you need to go somewhere else. I guarantee he will give you the same one on one care as the patient that made him run late to begin with. I'm just grateful that we have this doctor in Las Vegas!!

The doctors at Children's Lung Specialists have all seen my son. He is 6 years old. He could not breathe or play soccer when I met Dr. Nakamura. He placed Tristen on controller medications and now he is a normal child! I had my follow up visits with Ryan and Dr. Wu. The clinic has been wonderful and a lifesaver!

My son has seen Dr. Nakamura and he has been thorough and gentle. Some members of the staff, however, are a different story indeed. Know this...when you or your child has an appointment, you will be kept waiting. And, according to these staff members, that is just fine...but don't you dare be late! They will not tell you in person, but rather mail you a $50 bill for being a "no show". And if you dare question that, you will be read the riot act, and they will fight you every step of the way. So, let me tell you what neither their paperwork nor their front office staff will tell you...their policy for charging $50 to those who neither call to cancel nor show for their appointments is actually a fee to those who neither call nor show OR show up late for their appointments. Be informed, be prepared to wait, and be prepared for the big bad attitudes of some of the staff employed by the office. What a shame.

I have been going here since I was only a few months old when I was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. I am now 17. I have always felt comfortable there and actually enjoy going. You are treated well and get the best care possible. Dr. Nakamura and Dr. Wu along with Ryan are all really good and give you options and let you decide how your body feels. I really like the staff and highly recommend it. The people at the front desk aren't always the best anymore but they are still good.

My son is 8 years old and we have recieved excellent care from both Dr. Wu and Dr. Nakamura. Not only did Dr. Nakamura go "above and beyond" for my son, he has been a kind doctor and is excellent with kids! I appreciate the excellent care my son has received by Dr. Nakamura and Dr. Wu at Children's Lung Specialists.
