I decided to do some “re-landscaping” in my back yard. I drew the plans the best I knew (with some help from the Internet) and I went to Moon Valley Nursery to look for plants and trees. Their landscaper/arborist helped me correct and improve my landscape design. They delivered the plants and trees. I also have their landscapers plant them. Overall, I very satisfied with Moon Valley Nursery’s services.

I hired a landscape contractor to design and install a new landscape in my front yard. The landscape design included 5 shrubs and 2 trees. I went to Moon Valley Nursery together with the landscape contractor to buy the plants and trees. Moon Valley salesman gave us substantial discounts. I liked that they had a lot of different trees to pick from. I have recommended Moon Valley Nursery to my friends and family.

These guys are crooks! After driving accross town to select a particular tree for your new house, come delivery time..they bring someone elses tree..and get this..SOLD MY TREE TO SOMEONE ELSE. To add to the insult..they offered me to select anyone elses tree, even if was marked sold..so what does that tell you about ethics of this company! NOW..they charge me a 15% restocking fee for a tree I never received! Total CROOKS! Anyone who does business with this lot of theives, I feel sorry for you!

I took a picture of the kind of tree i wanted and a leaf, showed it to the salesman 'Terry' and told me i know what you want and we ended up buying 3 trees for $300. and some, they delivered and planted the trees, came home and it was the wrong tree and the others were dying, returned the dying ones and they gave me whatever they had. the tree that i wanted they did not have so they sent me to northwest location, finally i got so tired of arguing with them, i am writng this to warn other consumers to be aware, Terry is like a car salesman, once he sells you on something, gets his commision, he does not want to talk to you.

Felt like I was pushed into making up my mind by some very fast talking quick dealing sales kid. These peole are too pushy and only interested in thier commisssion. It was like buying a used car from fast freddie. VERY UNCONFORTABLE! I wont return.

I was told by moon valley they would deliver my tree on Thursday, I maid it very plain that I had planned to leave Vegas Thursday morning, but I would stay until friday morning. I call moon valley and ask for a time window, I was given a time fram from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. I spent that whole day wateing for a tree that was never delivered.

Should have known by how fast they talk that they did not give us true and important information. The salesman said the trees were guarenteed for one year. He did not divulge that they do not guarantee trees during cold spells. He should have been honest and said make sure to wrap or string lights around them if it gets too cold. They only replace 1 tree, so if you buy 10 trees you better hope only one dies.

I went to get a shade tree and 2 semi-dwarf fruit trees. Sad to say, they didn't have the fruit trees. One gentleman took me to the shade trees. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. When I picked one of the ash trees, we went to write the sale up. Dave Grounds and Dan were 2 of the most helpful service people I have come across in years. They actually care about the job they do, the service they give a customer, they treat the customer with respect and really care if the customer returns. I simply can't say enough about these 2 gentlemen. Moon Valley needs to hold on to these men, and get more like them. I will continue to get my trees, flowers, etc. from them.Darlene Qualls

I was pleasantly surprised to find a real nursery that actually grows what the sell... not just buying from brokers etc., marking up and reselling... It's obvious by how healthy the plants are that they really care about what they do. The guy that helped me really knew his stuff.
