I came here for help and I got it!! I felt like the staff was genuinely concerned about me. Megan, Dave, the big Hawaiian guy, gladys, all made me feel so welcomed. And I told the head chef I would do this and describe his food.... The fact that the chef was concerned about the quality of food was impressive. And the food reflected that

Horrific Hospital!!!!

Do NOT under any circumstance seek inpatient or outpatient treatment at Montevista Hospital unless you want to be treated worse that a caged animal. I went to see about their outpatient program because I was dealing with some stress and grief over my beloved dog who was dying. I was involuntarily LOCKED up with no reprieve while my dog was left for dead at home without food, water and medicine. I could go on about the violation of my human rights and the undignified and inhuman treatment I received, but I will leave that to the attorneys and mental health advocates that I have contacted. My advice is to stay as far away as possible from Montevista and seek help elsewhere. Even worse is that I will not get the help I sought, because the horrific experience has left me extremely afraid to contact another mental health professional. I am only giving Montevista one star because it will NOT let me post this review without it. How sad is that!!!
