I was one of her clients for over 8 months and she had convinced me in buying 3 or 4 different products that came to over $600 over that period of time. She kept saying "Oh you should try this one since this one didn't work." Most of the time I declined because I was giving her between $200 and $400 a month. Plus paying for my face wash on top of that. Don't get me wrong I would of paid for face wash anyways but it cost $36. On the brighter side, the face wash (cosmedix) minimized my breakouts but my main problem is cyst. Plus she changed the type of facial I was getting every week. When one seemed to work, she couldn't remember which one she used at my next appointment and so forth. Not to mention she over charged me for a couple of the products, it was only a couple dollars but that adds up. She also wasn't very dependable. It would take her 2 or 3 days to get back to me and she ran late 4 or 5 times during the 8 months without calling me. I would never recommend her!
If she would of been up front and told me that she couldn't help my acne, I would have been 100% more happy.

I'm glad to know your breakouts were minimized by the CosMedix face wash. It's helped many of my clients clear up! :) I'm not sure who you are because I have no record of any of my past clients spending $200-$400 per month for skincare, however I'd like to address your review regarding cystic acne. I understand how frustrating it is to deal with acne. I've suffered with it since I was 9 years old! Acne is never cured, only maintained. Just like everything else our skin requires maintenance. As for your cysts...cysts are a systemic response to something internal. Not all causes of cystic acne can be prevented. Genetics are predetermined. Hormones, however can be controlled. Stress stimulates a hormone called Corticotropin Releasing Hormone which is believed to trigger cystic acne. A diet high in refined Sugar & starches as well as food allergies are also suspected to present on the face, chest & back as cystic acne. I recommend my clients with acne be tested for food allergies. Cleanser alone would not clear up cystic acne. However, it does help clear up congestion and soothe irritation. If I was "convincing" you to purchase more products, it's because I believed you needed them. I would be doing you a disservice if I thought something out there could help and not offer it. I also do not recommend "facials" for cystic acne. I would recommend a peel to help exfoliate the epidermis. The frequency of peels I recommend is based on each individual's condition. Most likely I was recommending exfoliants, and a retinol. Occasionally I have my clients with cystic acne use another product called lightening for it's anti-bacterial & anti-inflammatory properties and to increase cell turnover. Nothing I do in my treatment room will make cystic acne go away. It is a team effort. I can minimize the frequency and help current nodules heal more quickly. I ask my clients to address their diets and stress levels & make the necessary adjustments. Hope this helps you to understand cystic acne a little better!

Provided by YP.comMelissa does a wonderful job. I went in for a simple brow shaping and she took her time to do it properly. My brows have never looked better.
She has a very relaxed and warm demeanor and I felt comfortable with her. I even took the big plunge and made an appointment for a Brazilian wax the next day.
I recommend Melissa to anybody looking for waxing or the services of an aethetician. I was so pleased I already have my next appointment scheduled!

I called several places inquiring about brazilian waxing, but after speaking with Melissa I knew I had found someone to do it. She was so pleasant and took the time to answer my questions and really made me feel comfortable.
The salon was very inviting. It felt like a boutique with candles and inspirational books and smelled wonderful. Melissa's room was very clean and the experience was more than I expected. I will never shave again!
