I was there 11/03/2014. My friend and I just wanted to relax in Vegas for the weekend we live in Michigan. I loved the service: the cleanliness of the servers, and the friendliness of the staff and owner. I was unclear on getting breakfast or lunch everything looked so good. I decided on lunch I had Fried Chicken, Cabbage, Yams, Macaroni , Dressing, and cornbread…I also ate Fried Catfish, off of my friends plate. The Chicken, Catfish, Dressing, and Cabbage was good. The Macaroni needed a better cheese and consistency and cheese on the top. The Cabbage needed better seasoning and the Yams more sugar. Due to the service and the meats, I will give them four stars. Oh yea the Iced Tea….Great!!!

When I went in I saw black servers,,buy when I ordered and received my food,,it didn't look right,,everything on my plate was terrible and it wasn't made from scratch as they said,,upon leaving I looked in the kitchen and saw all mexicans cooking this so called Mississippi soul food!

We went with friends and 3 out of 4 of us will definitely return.
Great home cooked food, friendly staff, clean surroundings.Walked in and it felt like you were back in time.Homey setting.

It was so good to be somewhere where you have great food and good people.I so enjoyed the food and the koolaid.I toook mt Mother one occasion and she loved their catfish.I took my son another occasion and he loved the frenchfries,overall it was a good place to eat and the liver and onions was delicious with a capital D.Security was very kind,the Manager was cool,and everyone addressed me when I ordered my food per over the phone,I felt like part of the family.

VERY bad part of town. Did not want to leave my car even within sight! BAD GREASY HORRIBLE FOOD! If you are into good food that is good for you and want your money's worth? .... keep out of there!

Great Service, but I'm from the South so there are tons of Soul Food places to choose from back home. It's almost unfair to compare this restaurant to them. They had great service, good menu to choose from, and allowed me to order a few different things. Whenever I'm in Vegas again, I will be sure to stop by for lunch or dinner.

Worst service I have ever had at a Resturant. Waited 50 min for fried Chicken that wasnt that great. My party watched someone walk in at the same time and walked out before we were served. Also watched someone walk in 15 minutes after us that was served before us, As a Black man I am very disappointed at the service from some of OUR resturants and would never waste my money where my Dollar isn't appreciated.
