Most LFS have at least some type of return policy (provided a clean water sample) within a short amount of time. Lucky, however, has a VERY strict no return policy. I bought some xenia from them on night. Upon coming home and introducing them to the tank I found one of the pieces of liverock had a bunch of small green bubbles on them (I noticed in the store but didn't notice how much was on there). I researched and found this was green bubble algae, considered a real aquarium pest (it will overrun your tank and essentially destroy everything). I called the very next day (they were closed by the time I got home). I explained the situation and was told that the bubble algae must have come from my tank. This is ludicrous. Fist, my tank has NEVER had ANY bubble algae (in fact it still does not). Second, there is no way given the amount of the pest on the rock that it could have all grown thee in 24 hours. I took it back to them (even without a refund).
